Thank you for this BEAUTIFUL short documentary that so aptly captures the work of Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre (BSBCC) in only 5.5 minutes, and also love how Dr. “Wildlife Wong” mentions ways we can all help Sun Bears / Beruang Matahri based on each person’s unique talents! ☀️ 🐻 Sun Bears are such a keystone species important to the rainforests of SE Asia in so many ways: Forest Engineer (creating larger holes in trees when eating honey 🍯 of Borneo black stingless bees 🐝 , and then Hornbills and Flying Squirrels have a hole in the tree large enough to make their nest 🪺) Forest Doctor (eating termites) Forest Farmer (contributing to soil health by breaking down decaying logs 🪵 🐞 to eat insects; dispersing fruit seeds 🍈 by eating fruits & roaming to another part of the forest 🌳 🌴 🌳)
