This takes me back. My son came home from school one day with a little creature wrapped in his shirt. It was a newborn kitty with his umbilical cord still attached. He had been born that day and mom was nowhere around. I cared for him and he became the most wonderful kitty I have ever had. Named him Lucky. He lived to be 18 years old. We formed a wonderful bond. I’ll never forget him.

my 9 week old kitten was sleeping on my lap till he heard the kitten on the vid and he woke up wanting to cuddle the little kitten. he went up to the screen and was purring and rubbing against the kitten on the screen. purring is a medicine for cats. the vibrations help cats to heal from injuries. so by rubbing and purring against another cat its helping them heal. works on some human medical probs as well.

When the kittens grew older, about 11 months old or more, their mom has to leave the kittens, because they are big, and they can survive by themselves. Just like us. But some cat moms abandoned their newborn kittens, it may because the cat moms don't know how to take care of them.

If anyone has ever raised a newborn kitten at this age, they realize what a privilege it is, and one fantastic experience. Doesn't matter if you have to wake up multiple times during the night to feed the little critter and make him poop/pee. It's a rewarding experience unlike any other.

Taylor Lords i rescue cats but not this little, more like Hurt and sick, so i help to be healthy and ready for adoption. But the first time i had to deal with little kittens was because i rescued 2 pregnant Cats, they had Their Babies and at 3 weeks old moms got sick. So I had to take care of 9. Nine. NINE. Nueve. That Was my first experiencie with feeding babies. I went big i know. I did that for about 4 days util moms were Nice again. But NINE. It drove me nuts that week.

Awww! Love him! I had my first bottle feeding a baby kitten after my barn cat had 8 kittens. The tiniest all white one wasn’t getting enough so I brought her inside. She loved her milk and she ate just as well as this little guy. She ate from the bottle for a good 2 months before she started eating from the bowl of kitten food. Callie is now 18 months old and a gorgeous Siamese with a white line down the length of her nose, and the love of our lives.

I've rescued a kitten before, and they we're about a week old. It was super sweet, and I had 3 other cats who took on parental roles with the kitten. We found her in the target parking lot, and even though the original intent was to foster her, we ended up adopting her. She is the cutest little calico kitten, and she is now 6 months old

Lady, you (& your man) are some kind of special! If there really are angels among us, I'm pretty sure you guys are two of them. I live in a very small rural area, & most people seem to think of strays or ferals as nuisances, & are quick to try to "get rid" of them...& not always in kind ways. One person shoots every cat that comes in his yard, if it's without a collar. He says he's putting them out of their misery. I on the other hand, try to do what I can to feed them. Unfortunately, my husband & I both have serious health issues, & live on a low fixed income that prohibits us from doing TNR for the poor things. We have our own kitty that we adopted as a kitten when he was supposedly 8 weeks old. His mama was dumped off on a back road at a farm, & she birthed he & his 4 siblings in the barn amongst the cows & chickens. Luckily, the family there did find homes for all the kittens, but who knows what happened to the mama. Our ginger boy is all we can afford to properly care for. Lots of people around here think that just letting them in the house & feeding them the cheapest food they can find is being a great pet parent. I won't have a pet that we can't afford to vet, spay/neuter, & feed good quality nutritious food. My dream if we were ever in a better financial state, would be to TNR the local cats, care for orphaned babies, & to get someone with your knowledge to come & educate the folks around here about what the cats & kittens truly need. My husband & I became cat lovers about 10 years ago. We sort of accidentally adopted a cat, & we've been in love with them ever since. Our Rusty is the 2nd kitty for us, as our 1st passed away rather suddenly at about 5yrs old. We have no vets with weekend hours in our area... I discovered he was ill on a Friday night, & he passed away in the wee morning hours of Monday, before the office opened. I didn't mean to rattle on, just wanted you to know of my extreme respect for what you do. I'm an old lady, & it really does my heart good to see younger people wanting to do good in the world around us. Thank you & I wish many of life's blessings for you.🐱❤🐈

My mum raises kittens this young too, at the moment we have about 15 KITTENS ( about 4-5 weeks) that she is raising. Altogether ( kittens & cats) we have about 30.
