Recently my local shelter has made the decision to take in more neonates as kitten season is right around the corner, they got a grant from kitten lady to take training and get supplies. Fosters take intensive training and I am very proud to be part of the mini kitty committee. Thank you SO MUCH kitten lady 😊

That’s amazing! It’s sad that so many rescues/shelters aren’t equipped or knowledgeable about neonates but like Kitten Lady has shown it doesn’t take a ton extra work you just need to be educated on the right things to do (and be prepared to lose sleep when they’re that small!)

You are so correct about not waiting , not delaying getting the kitten to a vet for antibiotics...I was fostering some three week old kittens ( bottle feeding ) and within two hours one of the kittens went from ' sort of not feeling well,' to getting REALLY sick, with an intestinal infection. I had a vet appt. for later in the day, and I never realized how fast they can go downhill. I rushed her to the vet much earlier than our appt. and we were able to get her on the right meds, .she is now ten and laying right beside me ! But do NOT wait to take a small kitten to the vets.

Priscilla, I am a retired therapist/teacher who loves, loves, loves cats. Unfortunately for me, I fell in love with a man who is allergic to them. Since I just retired at the end of last school year, I applied to volunteer at the animal shelter here in the town where I live. Well, because of the pandemic, the volunteer program was shut down, and, because there is a shortage of professionals in my field, I was asked to continue working in the hospital. As long as there is a need for the service, I guess this is how I can contribute to society. Anyway, I can offer you an incubator to help you in your work. I was going to get one for Hannah, but she is doing very well on her own. I have priced them on Amazon and, since I am working an extra job, it won't be a problem for me. Let me know if you want it and we can work out a way to get it to you. Good luck in your work.

It looks like a mitted or Birman ragdoll. birmans have white chins-not sure the color the chin will finally be since the kittens usually start out totally white at birth and get darker (I would bet the coloring is chocolate but could wind up lynx/chocolate). Ragdolls already have Siamese characteristics; ragmuffins can be any colors, but still have all the same characteristics of ragdolls (lazy, floppy when picked up, floofy w/ fat belly pad and talkative)

My husband went over to the house to see what kind of kittens they were trying to re-home, and he was not happy seeing the environment they were living in. He was only able to bring one home since we were renting at the time and not allowed to have over 3 pets. I took her to the vet the next day, and got eye drops and oral antibiotics. Literally after the first day of eye drops, you almost couldn’t tell her eyes were yucky at all. Never wait for a vet visit.

Two years ago I got a white kitten from a now former friend. She was 11 weeks old but was the size of a 6 week old. She was so small, and thin, covered in feces and fleas. It broke my heart. Went to the vet straight away, put her on food she needed, and took a few days to slowly clean her. After two years, she's now my strong trooper baby girl. We have such a strong bond because I had basically rescued her. Apparently she's allergic and sensitive to many things. When I had her spayed she reacted very badly to the narcotics. But the vet knew what to do to make it better. Whenever I think back on it, I get angry at that old friend. She used to be a breeder and she completely destroyed my trust in her. This video reminded me of it. And how important it is to take care of these babies. But I'm glad my girl is okay now. I love her so much ❤️

Reminds me of Pulce, a kitten I tried to rescue a couple years ago. She was so dehydrated, her veins were as this as a strand of hair. Poor thing couldn't even get fluids properly because of that. Sadly, she ended up passing away. I miss you, Pulce. I'm sorry I couldn't save you.

The difference that you were able to make in 12 hours is amazing. She looked so much better, and it was obvious that she felt so much better too!

I’ve had a really long, rough day and seeing there’s still good in the world has helped perk me up a little. Thank you for all you do, KittenLady.

I have a kitten like this, and also he was getting cough because he was a foster kitten, then I just clean with some wet towel without any medicine and just cleaning and cleaning, then I bath him and feed him correctly and now he is so healthy :33 Also your kitten is so cute, congrats for the dedicated time for them !!

Sometimes it's all too easy to be cynical with the world but then you have to remind yourself there are truly wonderful people out there doing stuff like this.

When I watch kitten lady my cat who has had kittens is so concerned when hearing kitten sounds, her daughter who has never had kittens does not care 😹 Thank you for the kindness you show the lovely kittens and animals ❤️😻😻 Edit: I got both cats fixed when they came under my care.

I love how she detaches everything to save these little fluff balls, this poor kitten didn't even get to see its mom, didn't get to eat, and was REALLY thin!! I'm so glad someone out there would help kittens in need!!

My favorite part in most of these videos are the reactions the kittens have to Hannah. They totally connect. They know loving and funny when they see it. (They love her little songs)
