Neighbors called about a deer stuck on the backside of the far horse pasture. Luckily Josh and Joe were able to free him unharmed.

Outstanding !! we find deer 2-3 times a year tangled in fencing here on our place in Llano. Usually it's the hind leg just above the dew claw that get tangled in the top two wires of the fence when they try to jump it. Usually by the time they are found it's too late for them. Hip is completely out of joint or the kyotees have taken 'em down.

Awesome job guys. Up here in northern Ohio we've had a few bucks gore men and a couple didn't survive it. One guy was doing what y'all did and got hired but he lived through it. That was maybe 30 years ago now. So glad everyone ended up okay.

Rough time from the Deer's POV. Two tall, scary predators were fanning out and for some reason it was stuck. No amount of 'easy fella' is going to override that because your behavior is more like a pair of wolves setting up to divide and devour. Not much to do about that, however. It would be dead long before it would trust you even if you used every pressure-and-release tactic on the planet. Follow that up with it standing there lopsided, doing some shallow intimidation stamps... "Oh, I'm free now, predators! What are you gonna- You know what? I'm tired. Later, suckers!"

Livestock fencing. This happened on a horse farm. Unfortunately these things can be common, however, the deer usually just knock the fence down instead of get caught in it.
