Dean - look up the Humble Mechanic He’s done an RS3 into a Golf 7.5 and a lot of the issues you had he has dealt with including the gear shifter. ISTR he used one from a Golf diesel as the Audi one is too tall. Keep up the good work

What a massive job this is. You talk about it like it is as simple as having a cup of tea or just boil water. All the lights flashing on the dash, all the wires hanging about, the cooler pack...it just needs a little fine tuning. WOW. You make really great videos, cant wait for the next one. Brilliant stuff! Absolutely loving this. Quick pointer on the brakes of these MQB Cars. The brake bleeding order has changed. Its now FL, FR, RL, RR as per the service manual. Also for those RS3 brakes front brakes, you need to start with the outer bleeder, then do the inner bleeder, and then the outer bleeder again. This needs to be done on each side.

thought she wasnt going to move for a min there but once you put more oil in she started working, the joys of an auto box. i thought the sound was loud but nice if you get what i mean, obviously it will be better once everything is back in place. im glad you swapped the wheels over because im sure that original driverside front has a bit of a bulge across the treads, seemed a bit out of shape just as it turned slightly that first start. could be just me or camera angle or something... but the RS3 wheels do look better

Those yellow clips are a pain, break really easy like you did. With tabs, a screwdriver in top AND bottom gently apply inwards and upwards pressure so can see them contract slightly then get a 2md person to insert a flat head screwdriver (as wide as will fit in the hole) and give the centre screwdriver a quick sharp tap and it should release them without snapping. If you try ans rough the top or bottom individually will just break them. Need to Line the 2 top and bottom. Gently pressure then when see contract... quick tap....good luck will need it. They ain't cheap either
