I like the low cost fixes, the roof bar and bung in roof, when you had the noise on the test run, I was shouting turn the heater fan off, sounded like a bit of rubbish stuck in the heater fan! Was funny to see it was the sticker.

The vallet looks good. Great that you take us through the full diagnostic process for the turbo boost fault. Great to see the sticker moment. Roof rails look good as they are and when you colour match the grommet it will blend in. A good run around for someone. Great content Dean, love watching your channel.

I work for a local taxi firm and before I bought my own car, one of the pool cars was an ex police 2010 tdi vrs, bought cheap as chips from auction, with 375,000 miles, there was a little puff of blue from the rear when you caned it, but drove great, only taken off the road when it fell foul of the council's 7 year limit for taxis/private hire.

As far as I know those N75 valves are pretty much the same on many cars with different hp engines and I have fitted used 2002 one on my 1999 skoda and it works great, just painfully awfull vacuum lines rounting, but oh well if it works it works. So it wasn't too important to the get exact one, but more important to get one that can hold vacuum inside and has those plastic line connectors facing right directions. Btw great video, love it !

I agree with several others, if you can get one for less than the added value, a second hand door card would totally transform the interior and have to be an investment. With the faults, visual and mechanical cleared, you must recoup your investment plus a reward for time spent. It maybe a close run challenge, but a worthwhile one to take up. All in all a good, entertaining clip, thank you.

When I worked at Ford, the Master Tech changed the gearbox on a Ka for a noise. Noise didn’t go, turned out it was the England flag people stick into the window runners 🤦🏼♂️ Regarding the turbo issue, makes you wonder whether they blocked it because they couldn’t fix it, after actually finding the issue, but replacing the faulty part with the wrong one!
