I made these a few days ago and used my home canned pumpkin. Best rolls I ever made only lasted a day and a half everyone loved them. We had homemade turkey sliders on them.

Good recipe. I made it using whole wheat flour so it was a little denser compared to this video but soft nevertheless. I would recommend increasing the cinnamon and sugar to bring out flavour of the pumpkin

Savor Easy, can I use bread flour and canned pumpkin puree? I've been wanting to use bread flour on your recipes for a while because I know it has a higher protein level but the other day I read an article that said if you were to use it instead of all purpose flour you would need to adjust the liquid. I've been making your garlic/parsley cream cheese filled buns a lot (just made a batch yesterday 😋) but my dough never looks as dry as yours does after kneading it. Don't get me wrong. My buns come out great but I seem to be kneading the dough for longer than suggested. Plus I'd just like to roll them into balls without the dough sticking to my hands, lol. Please answer. Would really love to give this recipe a go too. Thanks for your time and of course your videos... 😉

Hi Tammie, yes you can use bread flour. The consistency of your dough depends on the protein content of the flour. If you find the dough sticky, just add more flour until you can handle the texture. :) Thank you for watching my videos.

I just made her garlic/parsley cream cheese filled buns yesterday. I too have issues with my hands but normally I do it the way she shows us in the video. However yesterday I started my dough out in the stand mixer. I let it mix on speed 2 for over 10 mins but it never fully got to the point where it wasn't sticky nor did it pass the window pane test. I had to finish it off by doing the slap and fold method. The only up side to starting out with the mixer was the amount of time I had to slap and fold. I just left a comment asking if we could use bread flour (it has a higher protein level) and canned pumpkin puree. I'm hoping we can without having to adjust the liquid in the recipe. I think if I'm able to use bread flour on all of her recipes I'll be able to get my dough to look/behave the same as hers... 🤞 Sorry for the long comment. Just trying to give as much info as possible. Best of luck... 😉
