I’ve made this recipe twice already and it’s come out great! For the people trying this recipe for the first time or for people trying yeast for first time, I recommend letting it rest if it’s too sticky. Also if the milk is too hot the yeast may die, If it’s too cold it won’t bloom. Any recipe that requires kneading is tricky. The flour consistency will be different every time. Same thing happens when I’ve made cinnamon rolls. The temperature of where you’re kneading affects as well. Give the recipe and yourself some love. It may be hard for beginner bakers. My mom tried it as well and she did have a hard time but she’s learning. Make sure to give everything an appropriate amount of time to let it do its magic. 🪄 Amazing recipe! Will become a staple in my home :)

Also if the recipe still comes out too sticky for your liking, I recommend switching all-purpose flour for bread flour. Happy baking y’all!

Terrible recipe. Your measurements are off, I made it exactly how you said and the dough was sticky and never really came together even after adding more flour. Wast of my time and ingrediants.

used this the other day for the base of a cake with blueberry, raspberry, banana (mashed lightly with a fork) filling in between layers closed with whipped cream, toped with some strawberries and lime zest blood sugar went from 4.7 to 5.4 1½h later after a decent slice (and a low low carb meal (some shredded carrot in my coleslaw). 👍 didn't use stevia i used some granulated cyclamate+ saccharin sweetener, about 3 teaspoons in total. 2 in base 1 in whipped cream (3 dl unwhipped)

I don't know why I am unable to make this recipe successfully. I've tried twice. If specify coconum CREAM, you would have to spoon it out of the can. So should I be using coconut MILK instead? See this explanation: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hnWQoJuFnamJhbs So I could not get the ingredients to blend without kneading. My coconut oil is solid. So I warmed it up until it was porable. My yeast was fresh, I just bought it to try this recipe. Needless to say, I could not achieve anything resembling bread dough. The second time I tried again with the rest of the can of coconut cream but watered it down some. A little better result with the dough, but still not sticky or like bread dough. I set it aside for an hour and it didn't rise more than an inch or so. Is your kitchen always 90F / 32C degrees? I left it to rise for two more hours (didn't rise half as much total) then just dumped the whole thing (as I did the first one). Maybe I just can't follow a video recipe. I had to watch it about 15 times to watch each step and verify the ingredient amounts. On my tablet, I cannot back up or speed up a video-- I can pause it or let it run. Hours later and more kneading than I do for rye bread, and I still do not know how to make coconut buns for my Belizean friend! I'll guess I'll stick with panades, fry jack, black dinner, etc. and she can bring the bread!

What should be the setting of the oven? With fan or without? Also my last try of this recipe it came out wet inside, I don't know what's wrong because my 1st-3rd try were definitely fine but the 4th & the last one which I used disposable tin pan, the bread became wet inside

No you can't use baking powder instead of yeast it will not puff up the dough. I have already tried it... Didn't turn out as expected.
