for the last question my 1st guess was D because I figured we need to work as a group at the end of the day. Had to listen to your reasoning twice before it sunk in that we advocate till the end for what we see is right by the client. no giving up !

For Q1, I thought the answer was B. I answered it before you did and I followed the structure you use (stage, demographic, presenting issue, etc). I was looking at the priority problem and it tends to focus on her family, not her, and then once looking at the issue of that the boys/ father tend to be more talkative than the girl/mother was another point to record of. If the men are always the ones talking and the boys aren’t treated as harshly as the girl is, one should consider that the issue starts w/ the dynamic of the family. That males do take superior roles such as talking and fair treatment That was just my own thought. Thanks

I watched this video about a month ago and got it wrong because I didn’t know how to break it down. I just finished the video and chose the right answer based on knowing where the focus should be and focusing on the type of question with nonjudgmental/unbiased answers

loved this one, i also considered the fact "sw" must also address the entire issue which a part of was social peer issues at school. that was also a factor that made me choose A over B. is that over thinking it?

18:42 if the question had said she was beaten and visible marks can be seen then the SWer would call authorities/APS ?
@Vondai10 ай бұрын
APS is only for the elderly or adults with disabilities. Authorities would not be contacted even she had visible markings because that would be breaking confidentiality. When looking at questions like this is important to keep in mind Maslow’s hierarchy of needs.
