I’ve always wondered if he thought about adding a bar of 5/4 consciously, or did he simply do what was natural to such a brilliant musician such as himself, which is to get the audience locked in and swinging with him from a spontaneous place as a great improviser. My favorite artist.

Yeah I think it was just a natural response to shift it a beat. When you're leading a band or ensemble it's incredibly easy to notice when someone is off beat because it's going against your own playing, which is the main.

Hi Harry. You're so amazing and talented. You inspire me so much. I've been your biggest fan ever since I've watched the Dolphin Tale movies a few weeks. I love your songs. If you can, can you please do a tour in Ireland? It would really mean a lot to me. You're the reason why I love Jazz. Thank you.😀❤️

I just love this man!! My dream is to sing with him someday!!! Harry if you’re listening… consider me for a Latin soul style big band concert! It would be like Celia Cruz meets Frank Sinatra!! I’ll be you’re Celia😊🤣🤣😍😍😍😍

Yeah, I remember when someone put up a video of this showing the genius move of you Harry. Basically, you gotta think.... since I was a child I always noticed that white audiences clapped to the rhythm of a song, whereas black audiences clap to the beat. That's what happened here. The clap to the rhythm is on the 1 and the 3. The clap to the beat is on the 2 and the 4. I think today's society gets it better(regarding beats and what have you) than say the era of this video. Harry's album dropped in 1998 (I know, I was so excited about this project because it was classic Harry with the band, I saw him in concert that year too). Regardless, that's what happened here. That was a super cold move on Harry's part. The timing was done unto perfection. Good stuff. Still a huge fan since my mid teens. Now in my late 40s 😂
