We need 13 2X8's for a guy and 11 2X6's but need more logs for the 2X6's. The leaves are pretty with the cool sunlight behind the mill in this video.

I enjoy it better when I'm not sawing the oaks. They are to heavy. Thanks for watching and commenting

Morning Shannon. It seems to me that your guide pin just is not quite set up right that’s why your getting that sawdust flying like that when your doing a cut using the whole blade

Yeah. Most likely. I appreciate it and thank you for watching and commenting

Does your carriage knees just run off of air ?

Have you watched Reel McCoy? This was his mill before he passed, he went into all kinds of detail on how it worked from video to video.

@@templehillsawmill1748 Do you remember which video he quarter sawed something? I remember watching it and I asked when he was still with us and he said he did not remember. Have not been able to find it since.

Any leads on more uncut logs? Good luck on getting what you need and stay safe.

@robertgreen8695 yes, I spoke to a fella at church today about logs. He should have some nice logs. Thank you for watching and commenting

Great editing, great video today! I keep hearing a ratcheting sound when you are pushing the log up, kinda like a machine gun in the distance. Is that something good or is it bad or is it just my ears?
@templehillsawmill17482 ай бұрын
It's the blade wobbling and hitting the saw guide. I need to check the mandrel collars but not had time to. Thanks for watching and commenting

I think what he’s talking about is when you bring the knees ahead there’s a ratcheting sound somthing with the air it’s runs off I think
