we used to always use cedar trees for Christmas.. the first Christmas after we moved here,, I made a mistake of setting the tree right over the cold air return for the furnace,, I had to get up in the middle of the night and move the tree, it about ran us out of the house when the furnace came on,, the smell is great in moderation but in that much concentration. lol

For spacers always use a different species of wood as there will not be a cross sticker mold issue staining the stacked wood. Might have to look at those " ants" as their bodies looked close to termite form. Glad to see the n-95 mask used later in life it is no laughing matter to your lungs.

It is not to be confused with Thuja occidentalis (eastern white cedar). ALL "cedar" is Juniper. Scientific classification Kingdom: Plantae Clade: Tracheophytes Clade: Gymnospermae Division: Pinophyta Class: Pinopsida Order: Cupressales Family: Cupressaceae Genus: Juniperus Section: Juniperus sect. Sabina Species: J. virginiana
