Hi from Western Australia, Joh here. Looking at the licence plate walls, l picked out a few aussie ones, an A.C.T. one, one from South Australia and maybe a few more. The A.C.T. (Australian Capital Territory) one brings back memories, lived there for 20 years. Been in Western Australia now for 5 years. It's called a King Cake. Whoever gets the baby has to buy or make the next one. My Mother used to ship them all over the Country. She's gone now. The best ones are filled with grape preserves and creme cheese. The box says King Cake for a reason. Great channel. No cussin' or preachin' and best of all no politics. Music is pretty good but keep the volume at a decent level. It's a sawmill, not a bar. lol I want to see y'all at 100,000 subs by the end of 2024. I'll be sharing.

Somehow this timber looks too nice to be made into railroad ties. I think that could have made very nice furniture. I get it though, you have to complete the order. The groundhog did make a pretty good movie.... Oh, dang it, now i have Sonny and Cher playing in my head. 😂

I never tried to figure that out we just base our yield on the Doyle scale not a percentage but I can tell you there is no waste we sell everything from sawdust to slab wood . 100 percent good!

The recent logs that you cut in the snack video and the first one from this are mostly red oak? The viewers from Europe don't know exactly the American species of oak, we have red oaks in Romania, but usually in here are different types of oak species Q. @@markgalicic7788 I'm exhausted, I borrowed my daughters 14" electric chain saw and bought a new chain for it. It still took me 1/2 hr to cut through a 1-1/2" branch. I got my saws-all with a new blade and cut another 25 branches in less time. Don't wast your time on an electric chain saw from Harbor Freight, they're junk.

I watch a lot of your videos. I have one small question. There is a yellow arm with a toothed chain on it which rotates the logs into position. In this video it seems to have the word CHEWY stencilled on it. In other videos there is nothing. Why is this? Did you change it?

Five thirty in the morning that’s nice straight timber coming off the mill not free , an American working in a local factory has persuaded me to alter some parts for him there machine shop is all cnc and can’t alter parts with out a program , there all hydraulic components need refacing he says I love these old machines and I hate these new computer controlled crap machines , we’re having bacon an egg butties while waiting for the mill to finish facing the valve block he told me he lives in Ireland been there ten year and runs his own company he’s bought a lathe off me and wants an Elliot mill like mine so I’m off to see a machinery dealer later today, anyway you guys have a nice day
