Sawmilling in a HURRICANE!!! (Another BARN update!!!)

With the sawdust you have, would it pay to own a machine to make pellets for heating. In Southcentral Kansas, they are becoming very popular. We use them, even though we have a propane furnace. Love to watch the fire.

Cedar sure is pretty fresh sawn, but I know its a pain to get there. I remember when Caledonia High got hit, that was terrible but it was a miracle that no one got killed in it. Yes, you can't stop the weather but you can make informed decisions that can greatly reduce your risk of losing your life or being injured.

I think the not worrying about the weather thing is a guy thing i mean if i know a tornado is coming i'll seek shelter but not going to spend time worrying about what if , if its gonna get you it will , i've got friends that will go sit in a closet if it gets cloudy outside though , mainly female friends that is

Cut an order of cedar 1x6 last night. Sure took the "piss smell" of the wet pitch pines out of the sawmill😅. Hope you guys are safe.

Coastal South Carolina inland 20 from NMB, lots of wind and some moderate rain. I have a lot of small pine branches to cleanup. No major damage at my home. A few potted plants knocked over. The canopy over my OS18 survived 45 MPH wind gusts, but blew the tarp halfway off the carriage, even though it was weighted down. P.S. I LOVE the smell of fresh cut Cedar!

we mainly get tornados around here that are spawned by the weather systems that come off the hurricanes i'm about 30 miles north from them so weathers about the same
