You two have continued to progress more and more into an awesome homestead/farm/ranch couple. Blessings and prayers to both of you in Jesus's Name. I've been watching for a while at different homestead channels. Looking at all the different tractors and how they are operated in performing. Rebecca really shined today on the TYM 2515 with loading and filling the loader. Great job Rebecca. Country View Acres is grooming into a great channel and an awesome place to live. Very enjoyable channel to watch. ☝🙏🙌💪

Evan get yourself some of those 2’x2’x6’ concrete blocks that lock together for your new compost bin.very heavy can push tractor bucket against them and they don’t move really work great. Keep up the great work.
@CountryViewAcresАй бұрын
That's what I want to do. But some of those blocks weightl 2000 to 4000 pounds. It would take a lot of trips to haul enough to build a compost bin.

You have a great Wife, a Lovely Homestead, Many skills, a successful channel. Many fans etc etc. Then I realised none of that is down to luck but hard work.

The best way is to pull straight up and if necessary to dig it out
@grantmagnuson4883Ай бұрын
Put some kind of tarp or material that will keep weeds from growing, and then put the gravel on top of that. Do the same where your disk and other stuff is so that you can know I have all those weeds that you had a while back, when you were pulling the disc out to use it on that field about 3 weeks ago. I can sit and watch you work forever. Spent 60 years doing what you did.

You can cut those shorter posts (non burned) to length to create a 2 post bench to sit on with a campfire. And 4 shorter pieces to bolt them too so it has some height. Better than waste.

How about a canopy on the roll bar of the tractor? It will help with the weather. Not as much as a cab but less expensive.
@kingfishjrbАй бұрын
Pramitol 25E use this to keep your equipment storage area clear of grass and weeds.
@lifeoutdoorseveryday1682Ай бұрын
Use your 3pt to pull posts out, or attach the chain on the loader about a foot from the ground. You'll have more lifting strength with either of those options.
@ronatwell5379Ай бұрын
I was trying to tell you during the video, but of course, you couldn't hear me. What I wanted you to do is put the post hole auger on and drill a couple of holes right beside the concret. The concrete would have come out everytime. But that would be a good idea only if you really wanted to save the post. Sis also commented about Rebecca wearing boots instead of flipflops. Thanks for the video.
@alaninohio2Ай бұрын
Use a weed eater on the weeds around the equipment storage area! Safety glasses are very important to wear instead of losing an eye! ...from your friendly Safety Consultant former OSHA Inspector! Oh yeah, you still need outlet covers in the workshop too.

Buy you some of Ken's Bolt on Hooks that mount to the top of your bucket. You can hook chains to them and use the chains to pull posts out of the ground using the front loader bucket. He has the bolt on style of hooks as well as the weld on style. I put the bolt on style onto mine and I use them often. Saves a lot of manual labor. Lift the posts right out of the ground, then scoop the remaining compost. No shoveling. After pushing to load the compost, next time have your wife back drag the pile that is getting pushed. Otherwise you will be pushing it to your neighbors trying to load. If you back drag it, it will load the loose stuff as you dig into the compacted stuff. Just some helpful hints for the future.
