TotalityTV I don't think people should love like Sakura does, but it's ultimately their choice. I don't think it's bad that Kishimoto did it, it's realistic. The truth is, Sakura doesn't understand Sasuke, but convinces herself that she does and that she can save him. It is infatuation, but infatuation happens in real life too, all the time. But that also doesn't mean it's not true love. In my opinion, every love is true, just different. This is immature and underdeveloped love, but it's still love. It feels the same. She still cares.

To be fair I think the pairing of Sakura and Sasuke was very honest even from the beginning. Sakura has always loved Sasuke... always. There was never a moment where she stopped loving him. As far as Sasuke's feelings in book 1 it was obvious that he cared about her because he stopped her from following him. She said that she was willing to go on a killing spree if it meant she could be with him... Sasuke didn't want her to be like him so he forced her to stay... that's a much caring as someone like Sasuke is capable of showing. The series has always been honest about who was going to end up with who. Even Naruto says Sakura's confession of love for him was BS.... what more proof do you need?

Narukami Yu Mangastream is probably the correct translation. Read the mangapanda one and you'll see the overall chapter translation makes less sense than the mangastream translation.

For the opinions believing Sasuke and Sakura will not happen because he said "I absolutely have no reason to love her" have not understood the show. The show, Naruto, is about coming over odds and figuring out ones self identity through whatever past, or challenges that may appear. I think Sasuke finds Sakura "annoying" because she is a reminder of himself, and his emotions before the massacre of his clan and his suppressed emotions he slips out occasionally. If he doesn't care about her why can't he look her in the eyes when she is confessing her feelings to him? If he doesn't care why did he put her under a genjutsu (same as Itachi did before he left Sasuke after he killed off the uchiha clan) Sasuke was a fun happy boy who loved his family and brother dearly and worked hard to please them and satisfy himself. Sakura does the same as she works hard to please Sasuke and herself. "I have absolutely no reason to love her" may think now Sasuke doesn't care. However what about considering Itachi in the beginning, before we found out his true intentions, calling Sasuke "weak, pathetic, worthless" Didn't we all make him up to be a murderous psycho brother who killed his entire clan and spared only his brother (hint relating to Sasuke not killing off Sakura when he could have easily done so). Or what about Zabuza who said "Haku was a tool I used him and I have no use for him now and as for feelings I feel nothing" then 3 chapters later Zabuza is crying, apologizing realizing how much he loves Haku. What about Gaara? Didn't we all at one point believe him to be a vicious guy then later on find out he is The leader of the sand village and loves and appreciates Naruto for saving him (even though he tried to kill team 7 the leaf and threaten a lot of people). What about Neji who tried to kill Hinata, and called her a failure and Naruto one too, then to later on sacrifice his life for Naruto and Hinata because he so strongly believes in them, as strong true ninja's (I miss him so much ;( ). What about Kakashi who didn't even like his team now likes them!! What about Naruto who thought Hinata was "dark weird and gloomy, and completely weird" now who came to realize he likes people like her and "it's thanks to you that stayed by my side ;) (because it's like his old self, and or hidden side of him)! Same goes for Sasuke he likes Sakura because to him he sees a side of himself in her a goofy happy sweet person (because it's like his old self when Itachi was around)!! I seriously am so shocked this fandom isn't realizing that Sasuke deeply deeply cares about his team and Sakura and that he is treating her like this because he wants to bear the burden like Itachi did. He is bearing the burden because he wants his pain to never again happen to someone. Of course he is going at it the wrong way and no one should have to die for change (I'm calling out the whole Itachi murdering his clan which sparked this philosophy in Sasuke...just saying) He wants to be with his family (dead) and thinks he doesn't deserve to be around Naruto and the others that's why he's challenging Naruto because he, like Itachi did, wants Naruto to look like the hero that destroyed the villain. That's why he "smiled" at Sakura (his eyes looked sad fake smile) and stabbed her in his genjustu because he has the notion he will die and doesn't want Sakura, Kakashi, or Naruto to suffer in knowing Sasuke is good and cares about them so much that he believes he is a burden and doesn't want them to bother with him anymore. Sakura's words effected him because they are what he wants to do but (because of Itachi and his past of killing a few will save many (fucked philosophy) from his brother) he needs to say this outlandish plan so Naruto will kill him I MEAN COME ON PEOPLE THATS WHY HE SAID "I don't understand a reason to how she could love me" he has such low self esteem it's unbearable and he feels ashamed. I cried because this chapter was so heartbreaking as I love Team 7 so much and the other teams.

YESSSS! Finally. Someone who feels the same way! I think people have jumped to conclusions and have been overcome by in favor or not in favor of the character and relationship that they forget to be logical about it and look at the evidence and theme. Kishimotos use of nostalgia. Sasuke clearly said you're annoying, way back when he first left the village, to distance himself from people who could bring out this "love" and emotion from him. He said thank you when he left. Fast forward to this part of the chapter he says it once more. Without being able to look at her. And in an attempt to distance himself from her. Because he knows the feelings and symbol of love Sakura represents, not just romantically but the past love he had for family etc. A sense of normalcy. can surface if he stays. He can't be wavered from his resolve. And if he really didn't care about her he would have killed her then and now. But he didn't. Just like last time. Secondly when the kahe is speaking to kakashi about love and it shows madara and Sakura on the ground. He says I hope for sasuke he's able to regain love,that was different from his mother. So I highly doubt it's over with them. I would at least hope it's not. But if it is, I hope it'd end better than that...

I guess sasuke realized after listening to hashirama's story about how the foundation of konoha solved the ending of the uchiha and sengu war helped establish a peaceful village community for ninjas, which caused other ninja clans to adopt the same philosophy in order to end the endless cycle of war. However, even after some ninja villages decided to unite like konoha , war still happened because of rivalry and resource. I guess sasuke now realizes that if all of the ninja clans were to unite , then it would end the fued between nations and instill harmoney. If you disagree with me, well look at how this 4th ninja war has forced all ninja naitons to work togetehr and by doing so it has brought them all closer as one ninja clan. Tbh, Sasuke is lucky that Sakura loves him. I mean, she genuinely loves him inside and out even though he's done all this stuff... I was thinking that too, that eventually the Shinobi nations are going to unify. In a situation where people are in a war.battle like that and get close with each other, bond are made. Best examples I can think of is Vimy ridge where everyone went up as Ontarian's, Albertan's,British Colombians, Yukoner's ect... and came down unified as Canadians. It would be interesting if Kishimoto took that route . Maybe that's what the last movie is going to be about. The're going to obviously be objections to such a unification So the conflict is going to be people who are against it,maybe a villain like Amon? This is just my theory though. As for Sasuke and Sakura, I do ship SS but i think what Sakura said reminded Sasuke of what Itachis last words were to him "That no matter what you do, I will always love you". Also what Sasuke said to her shows that he dose remember what happened between them. In a way he dose care for her, most likely not romantically but at least for her well being. Sasuke is keeping her at an arms length by pushing her away, not enough force to cause lasting physical harm but enough emotional harm that she will stay away, he lost everyone once and he doesn't want to deal with that pain again. Sakura loves him, even if he did try to kill her.She knows him for who he is and is terrified for her friend, what he has become. It would be so easy for him to go with them. He helped stop the Juubi so i think that would be more then enough to grant him a pardon. Another thing is that Sakura is a medic-nin, and from Tsunade probably knows how to diagnose for metal illness. Sasuke could not of lived the life he has had unscathed mentally so she knows he is not thinking with a clear mind when he said he wants to kill Naruto and the Kages. I do want to see an epic fight between Naruto and Sasuke but i also want to see Naruto talk to him and work through what he's been through. I also really hope that Sakura wakes up and is recovered enough that she can break up the fight and help Sasuke as well, maybe even a one on one fight with Sakura and Sasuke where she goes all out on him and also dose some Talk-no-Jutsu on him. Regardless of what happens we're all going to have to deal with what Kishimoto writes so it will be interesting to see where he takes it Thank you for the review :3

The only pairings that's in the canon zone right now are naruhina and shikatema(and possibly narusasu)lol. We're at the the climax of the manga and if narusaku hasn't had any indication on intimacy from both naruto and sakura, chances are it's not going to happen. This chapter is debatable as to if this is a pro Sasusaku or anti Sasusaku. Sakura still loves sasuke and if that hasn't changed throughout almost the entire series of naruto, it's safe to say she's still going to love sasuke. Did anyone catch that panel with sasuke shaking when sakura finished her love speech? It boggles my mind that there are still people out there that think sakura's confession to naruto was real when naruto, sai, and even sakura confirmed it was fake. Sakura can't love two people at the same time. Sasuke putting her in a genjutsu is hardly harmful anyways.

Sasusaku never made any dense. I really don't see the point in sakura cinfessing here. Can please anyone tell me if it was required anywhere? She could have just asked him to stop and not slip any further. Did she really think she was so important that sasuke will give up his dream because she said she loves him? Most of the series sakura's feelings have not made sense nor any logical explanation was given but unfortunately they did end up together

Far as the Sasuke Sakura thing like I know he feels for her but is protecting her from him because of the path he decided to take. I think he will reveal his feelings to her in that genjutsu but we won't know till after the battle. I don't see how people is missing this but Sasuke is doing exactly what Itachi did by putting on this front and taking on this image. Sasuke is hiding his true feelings, we will still get a epic fight but Naruto will during this fight peel the layers off of Sasuke right down to who he truly is.
