I have been on Ozempic for 3 weeks now, and I have had a loss of 6.2 lbs. I am however being very careful about what I am eating. Trying to make good food choices and smaller portions. As of this morning, I am on 0.75 mg. Minimal side effects..maybe a bit of dry mouth, and a bit fatigued.

What type of doctor did you go to to get it prescribed? Did they suggest it or did you go seeking it?
@janelee42323 жыл бұрын
@@kassandrab665 I actually was seeking it. I have chronic back pain and I am hoping with a weight loss I will be able to eliminate some of the pain medications I am on. I went to my family doctor and he was very much in favour. So I am working closely with his nurse who has been a tremendous support and help in this process.

@@janelee4232 thank you so much for answering! I just found out about these types of meds. And I don’t have a gp just a psychiatrist and I can’t afford to go to the wrong doc that doesn’t know about it or can’t prescribe it. I know it’s a long shot with insurance but it seems worth trying to see if they’ll cover some of it and if so I’m Going to try to seek a doctor who can help. Thank you and much luck to you on your journey! :)

i had a heart attack in January, I have a1c of 5.5 and glucose of 114. I'm 5'7" and 52 years old 186 pounds, would a doctor prescribe me glp-1 medication?

Brian, sorry about your heart attack. Ask your doctor about GLP-1. They would be able to judge your situation better. Good luck!
