I have this Santa but it fried out. I tried opening it up to fix it but found out it was very cheaply made when the plastic basically disintegrated... Before I tried to fix it, it would every now and then stop playing mid song, and make a buzzing noise from the speaker, sometimes the speaker would start spewing random electronic noise, sometimes the whole song played but basically slowed/reverb. I'll link videos of the glitches. I honestly liked hearing it slowed down though

I have this Santa too, he is so precious to me, I've had him for years, and this year, when I set him up and put batteries in him, he doesn't dance anymore. Does anyone know how I might fix him? I am a tinkerer so I plan to attempt to make him work. If anyone is familiar with the inner workings, I'm wondering if I should use oil to lubricate the joints, or is it likely a connection problem? I really love this thing, and I won't part with him easily.

Sharon Chandler No, never fixed it. We recently moved overseas, so I left him in my Mom's closet...maybe when I return to the states in 5 years, I will have found a solution. :)

It's not really worth selling them. They only go for at most ten dollars at thrift stores. He's pretty cool to have, and someone might like him as a gift though.
