I am going into 8th grade, and I purchased a Yamaha Alto Sax yesterday. I played flute since 6th grade. My teacher is also counting on me to get into jazz band for 8th grade and getting lessons over summer this year, I haven’t started them yet. I’m learning through here first to get a headstart for in-person lessons, this is helping me a lot! Thank you, Jeremy!

Hi, your tutorial video regarding saxophone was so very helpful specially to the beginners who want to know how to play this very angelic sound. I wish soon i have my own saxophone so i can do and practice what you are teaching, but now I'm just only watching your videos to have a basic knowledge about saxophone. Thank you. God Bless and take care.

Hi there. I’m interested in the Sax Tuition. I’m a beginner and knows a a couple of notes so far however moving from one note to another can be a bit tricky. Would your course teach me how to move across from note to note and is the course going to make me into a decent player to be able to play songs and learn to read musics ? along with the correct fingering movements? Also how long approximately do the 12 classes go for? And what’s included in those 12? And is the E-book user friendly? Thankyou sorry for all the questions. I just want to make sure I’m purchasing something that is well rounded so that I’m putting myself in the best position to learn and become a good player

Hey Rodney - sorry for taking so long to get back to you! In answer to your questions: - The course covers all of the notes on the saxophone, and you’ll learn how to use all of them by using them in songs and exercises. - You’ll learn how to read music and no prior knowledge is required! The goal of the course is to set you up so you can play the music you want to play afterwards. - Each lesson goes for an average of 15 minutes. There’s approx 3 hours of video content in total. All of the course content, including a lot more info, can be found here: saxtuition.com/products/beginnerseries-eb Hope that helps! - Jeremy

I never touched a saxophone but I want one to learn , what type should I buy ??

Hi Adeeb! There's really 2 things to decide, what type of saxophone should you buy (alto, tenor or soprano) and what brand should you buy? I generally recommend starting on alto saxophone, and purchasing a second hand Yamaha. If you'd like to know more, check out the following videos: Alto or Tenor?
