Hi Mark, I’m from turkey and we have a lot of Syrians living in our country. After what happened they started to go back to Syria. I hope most of them will go back cause many of us Turkish people weren’t really pleasant about having them living in our country no offense bc I have some Syrian friends and I love them. When begin Syria civil war about 4 millions Syrian people came to Turkey to survive addition Turkey have made security zone in Syria for Syrian citizens that they can live in secure. USA faraway Syria I know 11 000 kilometres . İran and ,Russia no have borders with Syria ..Love from Turkey You are great teacher

Interesting lesson. 👍🏻 Talking about names that are difficult to pronounce, many get the Chinese x wrong. E.g. President Xi is always pronounced 'She'. It should be 'See' (2nd tone).

Hey, Mark! I had seen only several minutes of the lesson but I already have to ask: 1:35 ...the speaker (1 person!)...their (2 or more people) opinion....Why do you use "their", not "his" or "her"? Is there any special rule for this case? Then 3:10 Calgary... ever year... But you said "every year". Is it just small mistake? Sorry and thanks a lot.
