I used to live in Padiham for 25 years, it was once a good town, the main downfall for Padiham was not breaking awy from Burnley Council, they did not care about Padiham, ITV's a thriving town, crimecratesxwhere very low and Padiham was mostly self sufficient no its a run down town with no prospects of improving

@@kevinashcroft1977 I think the centre of Padiham looks a lot better now but its nearer the Ribble Valley yet house prices were low because of being in Burnley borough. Has potential but too many people there who never set foot out the place and seems to only attract investors who want to do up houses to rent out. No industry there anymore. I lived there for 14 years, left a few years ago. Happy memories, people were friendly and I met some nice women.

just thinking ? maybe [Burnley] area suffered more than most from this Urban decay ? except for Bradford ? All the employers shown had great products and a super workforce. [so why destroy it ???] you have to see it over many years to see the scale of it and understand the Enormity of it.
