It would be great if you did a video on the ACTUAL range of these vehicles and not the posted range, as everyone should know the posted range is BS.

Your non-stop conflating of energy and power is frustrating. Battery capacity is measured in kilowatt-hours, not kilowatts. Saying that a battery can store 80 kilowatts does not in any way speak to the battery's capacity or what the range of the vehicle will be. Quoting battery capacity in "kilowatts" instead of "kilowatt-hours" is like quoting a car's speed in "miles" instead of "miles per hour". Please use the term "kilowatt-hours" when referring to the battery's energy storage capacity.

When gas was replacing horses People shouted, Get a Horse, who you gonna get to work on that thing, where you gonna find Gas at. History is repeating itself as electric replaces smog.

Yeah but when the gas car came out so did range and horse power and so on. But there's one important factor. There are still horseback riding today. The Amish here in Pennsylvania sit get around with their horse and buggies. They're all over the place. I m waiting to see what fine qualities and improvements will be added to the next generation EV. Im hopeing that you can plug in and fully charge from 0 to 100 percent in 7 minutes or less, (not hours), the same amount of time it takes me to fully fuel my Jaguar XJl. Im hopeing that the next generation EV will provide a greater range of 500 miles. My jaguar XJl has a range of 515 miles which supersedes any EV. I only fuel up once a month which takes me about 7 minutes or less. And the price tag was just over $41,000 and yes, its paid off. But hopefully the next generation EV will be the same. So i will have patience and waite to see what qualities and improvements have been applied to the next generation EV...

The Lucid Air EV has the kind of range im looking for in an EV and it's almost a large full size luxury automobile but with a price tag of over 85, 90 thousand dollars and with no improvements in downtimes it's still worthless. All the EVs shown in this video still averages under 400 miles. I would love to buy an EV but they just have to improve them. Im waiting patiently for the next generation EV. Hopefully the next-generation EVs will allow you to fully charge from 0 to 100 percent in 7 minutes or less, (not hours) this is another reason why gas car drivers don't want to switch. Also the next generation EV would provide you with a range of 500 miles giving you the ability to (keep moving). I have the greatest of hopes that these fine qualities and improvements will be applied to the next generation EV. Till then, i will continue to drive and enjoy my large, full size, luxurious 2021 jaguar XJl. I fully fuel it once a month. And it only takes me 7 minutes or less. But the new generation EVs will have this ability also, ( i hope ). My range is 515 miles which the new generation EV will also provide as well,(i hope ). And price? The price of my jaguar was a little over $41,000 and "yes" it's paid off. The new generation EV should be available at these prices too. And i can still get a full size luxury EV which the current generation dosent even make. If the next generation EV comes out with a full size luxury EV and with a 7 minute charge time and long range for travel, great prices and maybe other fine qualities and improvements, then i along with many others will switch over and i can still make it to Jacksonville Florida in 11.5 hours instead of the 15 to 16 hours by the current EVs. I will waite and have patience for the next generation EV....

a Honda Pilot shaped vehicle with at least 350 miles range and reasonable priced vehicle would sell really well I think. EV s at the moment do not promise a lot yet asking price is more than twice the price of ICE vehicles. And to squeeze out every bit of range all brands seem to love to use that raindrop shape design resulting really compromised tiny trunk spaces on all of them. I don’t know why nobody is designing an EV with decent range and price station wagon vehicle something like Volvo SV60?
@TChalla007 Жыл бұрын
For the average person 250 miles is enough. 0-60 sec in 5sec is enough. Especially at a cheaper price. With the money you save on fuel and maintenance. If you need to take a trip and are worried. Rent a car once a year.

The tests they do for this range are not road realistic says the latest test reports most run at least 20 percent higher than reality...and any other negative effects, wind, hills, etc all make it even worse...

But I have no anxiety range at all, man. My old Mercedes 300, diesel, W124 body, has a range of silgthly more than six hundreds miles, and I can refuel it in five minutes... How's that?. Got over six hundred thousand miles and counting. It burns a lil oil, though, a quarter every six hundred miles or so.

You've miss longest range Chinese EV 👉..ZEEKR 007, 870km range. 15 minuts charge 650km. The best looks, range, 0-100km 2.78 second and cost 3x less then Tesla model S. Moreover, autonomous driving included in price. 😲👍👏

The Nio ET7 is an electric family car from China that costs £60,000 or more in the UK? 60 grand!!! The VW Passat 1.9 TDI BlueMotion is a diesel family car. It costs from £35,535 and rises to around £47,300 So if you go for the base model Passat - that gives you a price difference of £25,000 The biggest problem with EVs is the cost - it is so, so much more! 25 grand in this case.. 25 thousand pounds! £25,000!!! A £25,000 price difference means the ICE car owner is already better off! 25 grand at todays UK prices buys you well over 3,500 gallons of diesel. So... the price difference means the ICE Passat owner effectively has 3,500 gal of 'free' fossil fuel - compared to owning the EV model 😂 So it really doesn't matter what the range is on the Nio Exploding Vehicle or how cheap/fast it is to charge... Owning the ICE Passat means you effectively have 3500 gallons of free fuel. And 3,500 gal at, say, 55mpg average is 192,500 miles! That means the ICE car is cheaper to own/run for around 10 years... at which the EV might start to claw some ground back 🤣 ...oops... no... then the EV will need a new battery, and the EV owner is another £10,000 out of pocket 🤣🤣🤣 190,000 miles! Do you realise that means, IN ONE YEAR, the diesel car owner can travel SEVEN TIMES AROUND THE ENTIRE CIRCUMFERENCE OF THE PLANET and STILL be better off 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

What nonsense.THATS the maximum range at the ideal temp in the ideal conditions with 1 person in the car and an empty boot/ trunk.My is a lot cheaper to buy, It can give me 450 miles with a trailer/ rooftop box and all my camping gear in the boot as I drive an estate.with 4 people in it.The insurance is cheap as chips and not only is it a lot cheaper to buy,it holds its value.I can top it up in 5 mins.

What a rubbish video! It continually refers to 100 Kw batteries instead of 100Kwh - which is an entirely different figure! It also continually repeats the high acceleration figures for all the EVs - as though EV buyers are hotrodders who really want to reach 100 kph in zero seconds!
