Nice review however couple of things needs additional clarification: 1. Additional buttons on remote control are intended to switch this RC to control other AGD devices - this is great to reduce number of remotes, 2. Clearly someone needs to explain to Mad concept of DarkZ - no rubber feet at AGD! 3. Forte series support Tidal connect, 4. While dedicated Audio Group Denmark app runs (for now...) only on iPad but there are plenty of options to control Forte's streamer from Android/iPhone - e.g. MConnect or Tidal connect. Forte series has built in excellent streamer and omitting this part in review and use external streamer instead makes this review a bit incomplete

@@jacekkalucki6397 Thank you for the thoughtful feedback! I appreciate your points and would be happy to clarify: 1. Pressing a button without a symbol on the remote and having the amp go into standby isn’t intuitive to me. It would be helpful if there were clearer indicators for each function. 2. The concept of no rubber feet is interesting, but if the amp jumps when touched, they might consider using three feet instead of four, similar to what Primare does, for better stability. 3. I don’t use Tidal! 4. Having an app that only runs on iPad is a significant limitation, especially for those using Android or iPhone. Hope they will address this in the future. That said, I really enjoyed the amp overall, despite these small drawbacks!

How does this compare to Hegel H400?

I have no idea since I’ve never tried Hegel products. I sent them an email once but received no response. I might try again!

They need to step up on app support. It's 2025 in a few hours.

I have a golden rule in audio. Don't have anything that requires the internet, WiFi, an app, or software. A cd or a vinyl record is all I use

@@MadAudiofficial That's my philosophy. KISS. It seems to work. 🤷🏼♂️

@ I have a great jazz vinyl collection and high-quality DSD files. Streaming will never match this level of quality, and scrolling through millions of tracks often makes you lose the desire to listen.

@@justasimplefox Everyone has their own way of spending, but it’s important to inform rather than just criticize. For example, it would be helpful to share what you don’t like or recommend better products in the same price range that work for you. It’s always worth considering alternatives, but let’s use this platform wisely, instead of just posting messages that don’t help anyone. Your money, your decision btw!
