1:17:09 So my thoughts on this tape is that, this is showing us how "bad employees" are "dealt with". The video shows an image of Sir Poops-a-lot, one of the rejected toys, and the voice over is the guy that we've heard from before who has been complaining to management and continually getting demoted. We see that one of the rejected toys is going to be incinerated. So I think that's how they're dealing with people: turning them into rejected toys and then disposing of them so no one raises an eye. My haunch is all of the rejected toys are intentionally designed to be bad so they can use it as an excuse to get rid of problematic people.

XD Probably one of the most painful experiences I've seen on GTLive was the FranBow playthrough where he and Steph kept insisting all the lore was just a hallucination made up by a child. I also think that sometimes Matt is better at breaking games than he is at completing and analyzing them, like when he managed to break FNAF Security Breach by sequence breaking his way into an ending which should've been impossible to get to, and not even realizing that he completely glitched and broke the game to get an ending with no context.

45:35 Hold on, something doesn’t add up with the previous theory. Stella Greyber doesn’t quite make sense as Poppy. According to your timeline, Poppy came first, she was the first toy that Funtime co. produced. However, here Stella refers to Mommy Long Legs and tells us to follow her (insinuating that Mommy is alive at this point and sentient enough to lead people through the game station). Stella can’t be the Poppy, the FIRST successful experiment, and Stella, the one who tells us to follow an “alive” Mommy Long Legs through the Game Station, at the same time. Also, Poppy clearly has an American accent, while Stella has a more of a Spanish/Cuban accent (trust me, I know that accent when I hear it). Also also, Stella Greyber is in an executive position in Playtime co., at least high enough to warrant her having her own slide next to Leith Pierre and Elliot Ludwig! I’d assume she at least knows how to write with correct grammar if we are assuming that Poppy wrote the letter leading the main character back to the factory. All in all, I’ve got a PRETTY good theory that Stella isn’t Poppy because a) the timeline doesn’t add up, b) the voices are different, and c) the letter does not fit well.

I had actually thought about getting the first and second chapter, when this one came out, but then I learned about the shady practices of the developers. I feel so bad for the artists that they have hurt and the fact that they caused a teen to have to check themself into a mental health facility. They also potentially stole a concept for a game that was supposedly similar to Poppy Playtime. Plus, the NFT debacle really was not a smart choice, for them. Overall, While I would love to support the team that worked on the game, I'm going to keep my appreciation to the videos of the KZbinrs that play it.

@@brynne7738 I watched a few, while I won't argue with your decision to not buy the game (I did not, nor will I, be buying the game, nor pirating it), I do feel the claims of outright plagiarism are shaky at best. Laziness, maybe, but plagiarism many of the videos claim, I don't see it, otherwise it could be claimed both these games would have been plagiarizing Hello Puppets, and Hello Puppets would have been Plagiarizing Bendy and the Ink Machine, which would have been plagiarizing any number of flash/fan made games, and on and on, due to concept similarities. The art style, one of the other sticking points for many really can't be claimed either to have been outright plagiarized. Games set in the 70s, 80s, 90s, 00s, they only have so many art styles they can choose from to make their game's art style actually look like something from the period. If you ask anyone who lived through the 80s what type of wall covering was most common in the 80s, 90% would be talking about the fake brown wood siding the covered nearly every wall. If you plaster bright neon green and blue over a house wall in your game, everyone wouldn't think "That's an 80s style" they would immediately attribute it to a late 90s, early 00s style. It's no different here, a certain art style and way of drawing characters is expect, because the game is set in the past, which has a set art style that was used at the time. Again, doesn't seem like plagiarism, but just laziness. As for the lore, it's a trope, one that has been used numerous times, small company gets big, loses secret to what made it successful/loses reputation due to event, company collapses, you go in to salvage/find/solve X, start game. You can attribute that formula to many indie horror games, FNAF being the first one to really take off with it, but you have Bendy, Hello Puppets, My Friendly Neighborhood, Gone Home, ect. So all in all, the major claim of Plagiarism, I don't see. The claims of worker abuse, that is a thing for courts to decide, because people throwing accusations of abuse at each other is sadly a common thing these days, and I don't readily trust them as much, especially from personal experience.

My aunt collected these old porcelain dolls, and every time we stayed at her place there would be a new one. She once bought one and she said and I quote ‘she has realistic eyes like you!’ And purposely put in the room I was sleeping in (not to be rude she thought I would like it) and it was just looking at me. My aunt is a sweet lady so once I told her I don’t like dolls she removed the ones that were placed in my room.

Matt rapidly switches between the most interesting person to watch play a game, and the most frustrating. The reason poppy wasn’t there is because at the end she said “you opened my cage” and you were so shocked you passed out then poppy said wake up so many times it seemed hopeless to wake you up so she left then you woke up from your coma.
