This song made me sad at first because of Huey's situation. When he cried, I felt so bad for him because he wanted to save Shabazz from being electrocuted, and he thought he was going to die. But he prayed AND HARD. And Shabazz was saved. I thought is was the most touching thing when he found faith in God.

You obviously completely misinterpreted that scene. It has nothing to do with religion or any god. The Boondocks itself is inherently areligious, it’s purely meant to depict all aspects of society specifically relating to black culture (especially within America). In this scene, he specifically says something along the lines of “...I still believe we make our own miracles.”

How crazy was this episode? It started of so silly, and toward the end when Huey was praying and this song was playing it had me thinking so hard about so many things that happened in my life, while at the same time I almost laughed because of Uncle Ruckus’ shenanigans. Like damn, no show has made me almost pee myself and think deeply at the same time before this.

great way to end the season. all the other seasons got really goofy. season one was the best, when the show was a work of satire. not saying all the other episodes sucked. that's totally not true. just saying, I wish they kept the show the way it was.

For real. The second and third seasons were funny, but never as poignant as the first. The fourth we won't speak of. So many gems in season 1. Return of the King, the Passion of Reverend Ruckus, The Block Is Hot, A Date with the Health Inspector... Damn, I miss this show.

There were some funny moments in season 4, but it really hurt to watch that season. It's like watching your favorite A-list actor act in some horrible straight to DVD movie on Netflix. Like you know that they're better than this, but you still support them anyway.
