@DevinGtv901 you like this movie, I can tell you a few others you may like (three of them have Adam Sandler involved in one form or another) "Pixels", "Dodgeball" and "Grandma's Boy". You may also like "Fanboys", as the humour is along the same vein. Whatever you do, do NOT watch a trailer for Fanboys.... the trailers contain spoilers for the movie. Just go into it full on "blind". If you truly don't like that movie, I'll compensate you for your time. "It's A Primate" watched it last year, and he loved that movie. He also went into it pretty much blind. Pixels and Grandma's Boy you can watch trailers for... as they don't spoil anywhere near as much.

fwiw there was a deleted scene where Sandler beats the crap out of Ben Stiller and throws him out the window of grandma's room. I dunno why they cut it, maybe it was considered too slapsticky to defenestrate him, but it was satisfying to see. Wish I could remember where I saw it. Probably on youtube somewhere by now

You are correct. In golf every hole has a particular number on difficulty. Par 3, par 4, etc and trying to get it into the hole in as few shots as possible is the key. So say on a par 4 you make the shot after 2 swings. It would be an eagle, 3 swings is birdie, and then 4 would be par. After that it would be a bogey, double bogey, etc until it went in. So the higher negative numbers on the scoreboard means someone is doing well and positive means they are doing bad.

golf if one of the simpler games, at least to understand the rules/scoring. There's a set number of holes on the course, an average number of shots are decided it should take that particular hole (par) and each swing (stroke) is one point added to your score. If you played an 18 course game, and somehow managed to get "a hole in one" on every shot, you would have 18 points. The fewer strokes matters, as you go under par (expected strokes) you get negative score. If the course had a par total of 70, your 18 strokes would be -52
@Kamenari373 ай бұрын
The only movie I will probably ever watch about golf. Lol basically golf works like a reverse score. Each hole is assigned a number for Par. i.e. Par 3, Par 4. The number associated to it is the number of shots one is expected to be able to get the ball into the hole. The fewer shots it takes, the better you did, and the margin by which you reduce the number of strokes (swings at the ball) relative to each hole dictates your score. Basically, PAR is the highest number you ever want to reach in terms of strokes. Every stroke over par negatively affects your score, and the amount over par relative to the hole affects it moreso. The winner is determined by whoever has the least amount of strokes at the end of the course. Because Happy has such a long drive off the tee due to his hockey shot, he has an outright advantage out of the gate as he can typically reach the green where the hole is with a single swing, whereas other golfers may need 2-3 swings to make that distance.
