As someone who lives in one of the seedier tourist areas of Bangkok I’d love a lesson on the ruder ways to say no.

These videos are great. Thank you. I’m in Bueng Kan with my Thai girlfriend and the locals really appreciate it if I try and speak a little of the language.

Hello! I was wondering if you could do a video of reviewing Drops’s Thai. It would be highly useful for those who are learning or trying to learn vocabs from that app!

It’s SO sweet, that Thai language doesn’t have a word for “no”! That says a lot about Thai culture 🇹🇭😍❤️ Love this channel: Farang rien paasàá thai dáài 😄🙏

Useful, but although I've found things to say that I think are polite, what should I say to the many hawkers, touts and other people that approach me with things or services I do not want?

@@deantaylor6085 That's what I use, as opposed to meeow krap which gets a laugh. Just didn't seem to be typically Thai polite though.

@@Swaggerlot it is direct and is best used in those situations where you want to end the conversation but don’t forget the kop khun krap at the end to save face for the person who approached you. 😀

I do prefer the “aw” more than “or” for อ. My dialect and about half of English speakers pronounce that ‘r’-not silent.
