You don't get it, do you? Allah has made Ahlulbayt (as) the intermediaries between Himself and his creation. We even only get to know Allah through Prophet Muhammad (sawa) and his Ahlulbayt (as). Allah has made Ahlulbayt (as) our ark of salvation, Allah has made Ahlulbayt (as) our guides, Allah has made Ahlulbayt (as) the helpers of the believers , Allah has made Ahlulbayt (as) our refuge and our salvation, Allah has made Ahlulbayt (as) his proofs over his creation, Allah has made Ahlulbayt (as) his biggest signs and beacons of guidance...

The Messenger of Allah recited "Verily Allah intends to keep off from you every kind of uncleanness O' People of the House (Ahlul-Bayt), and purify you a perfect purification". (Qur'an, the last sentence of Verse 33:33) and then the Messenger of Allah said: "Thus Me and my Ahlul-Bayt are clear from sins."
