In my case, a human could not give me alerts I need in advance. Very good you do not need advance alerts. The scenery looked beautiful!

I have a cruise coming up, and after I weighed the pros and cons. I can't deal with the risk of going into international ports with my SD. I would be in fear of him getting stuck at customs re-entry on the ship or the local businesses not extending curtousy of his status. Hawaii is different, you were US to US but even still us handler lose a lot of freedoms for the sake of gaining other freedoms. I know what you mean when you say you could do things differently. I can't join my son in the petting zoo areas because of my SD or go to some of the place I use to because they don't properly keep to ADA law and the DOJ is so backloged they rarely take ADA claims and just tell you to find a lawyer. I'm glad your husband was able to help. I just ignore anyone who says you don't need a SD because you got him. I get that line from people on occasion with about my wife when she watches over me.
