Great tips, thank you. Several months ago I had our dog in the back seat without her harness, and the front part of the bucket pad was down. Had to brake hard to avoid another car and THUMP, our poor dog ended up on the floor board. Thankfully she wasn't hurt. I do need to get a crash tested harness. We've just been using a regular one.

Oh man how scary! I had a similar scenario years ago before I did these things where my dog hit the windshield. It’s just not worth it to me!
