I just had to say goodbye to my 15 year old pup Jake. It’s as bad as losing a person. I miss him everyday but he had an awesome life and he made my life awesome.

6 days ago I had to say goodbye to my little Lilo. Less than two years after losing my beloved husband. After my husband passed Lilo was such a source of comfort to me. She was 16 years old and absolutely beautiful. She was my baby girl. We were always there for each other. Shortly after birth Lilo got pneumonia - and was oxygen deprived for awhile. As a result she was never a "normal" dog. She never chased squirrels, she never played catch, she never chased the cat. I'm disabled so I'm home all the time but if I did have to leave the house Lilo would having anxiety attack. When her health started to decline I decided I wanted to say goodbye to her before she was in too much pain, so she could still see me and love me and know without a doubt that I was there for her and always would be. It's kind of funny that that day was not really difficult for me. However since then I've been feeling just as broken as I did after losing my husband. I feel like I've been punched in the gut twice I don't know if I can get up. I love your idea of getting and it's something I'm going to look into. Of course finances and transportation will be a big factor and where I can go but I do want to go somewhere and just decompress. May God bless you and your family and may He bless Mimi as well. You're in my thoughts and prayers

Having recently lost my 15 year old kitty, Tim - who was a bottle baby - the tears falling on my laptop. He died in my arms - he was the last of my rescues who also enjoyed the company of my late husband. He was the end of an era. I still have one dog and one car but Tim was one very special cat. I know your Mimi will live on in your hearts. I just jumped over to your channel from Dr. Lee's -

This was a reminder for me of 60 years ago. I was not quite 8 years old, when my father died of a sudden heart attack. After the funeral and a week or two, my mom and I traveled by ourselves from Colorado to California by train. Mom had a cousin in Glendale. It was an amazing transitional and bonding time, for us to begin to discover a new life together. Just like me, Princess Ana is blessed with an amazing Mom, who is loving and wise.

It really is therapeutic!! It's essential to our regulation and sad how many people go days and days without any exposure to soft fascination, running on a total attention deficit. :(

So sorry for your loss, my condolences. They are family. Thank you for the video. I think that was a good idea to get away for a while to process everything. A man once was asked what was the hardest thing about having a dog, he said having to say goodbye. It's true for a lots of people, no matter what critter it is, whether cat or dog.

A year later but ... sending you my deepest sympathies 🥀 for Mimi's passing. I know this feeling all too well. Our fur - and feathered and shell and scaley - babies are missed so much. Mimi is loved now and forever. I'll forever love every pet we've had. That's a love that never ends. I've had to say many good-byes and it's the hardest thing to do.💔 Doggies, kitties, parakeets, bunnies, turtles, and fishies ... I remember each one fondly and my heart misses all of them. Our swimming babies had the cutest personalities! So did our turtles - as did all of them!💜😁 Praying comfort and peace for your hearts as you remember sweet Mimi.❤️

Such a sweet, beautiful kitty. I had a cat named Happiness for 14 years who looked so much like Mimi. Hardest thing I ever did when she had cancer, and was similar, so this was hard to watch. In the song I was writing for you guys, Mimi was in it, and then I realized she was gone and I stopped. I saw the pillow. When she stopped eating, I knew it was near the end and her suffering was SO hard as well.

What a beautiful tribute to Mimi. I am so sorry for you and Ana’s loss. Mimi looked like such a loving baby. The beginning of this video made me cry so hard. Seeing how much love she had for y’all. Especially the part where you said “Ana was Mimi’s baby.” My god, the tears wouldn’t stop. My heart breaks for you, Nana, but I’m so happy you got to get away at that beautiful cabin and spend some time healing in nature, Mimi will always be with you. My thoughts, prayers, and deepest sympathy to you and Ana. All my love, hugs and blessings from Texas. Xoxo ♥️

I like your video with your journey with your cat. I remember that that was when I started watching your videos. My cat passed away 2014. Few were 16 as well. She passed away naturally here in my house, on November the 19th that year. The following year November the 13th. My parents got me my dog that I have now believe it. Or not. She is 8 and I love her. I think losing apparent and a pet is the worst thing in your life sometimes. But it helps you to be strong and to remember the good that these animals and human have done. Porosh, my dad passed away in the summer and boy. I miss him, make some big time. The world will never be the same without him. I just wanted to tell you that and I hope other people don't take life for granted. Be what the people you love me with the animals. You love and don't forget them. That's all I want it to say and I'll keep watching your videos as much as I can. And by the way take care

Your beautiful cat was well loved and even though it’s so tough to make that final decision we do it because we love them.
