Hi coral happy new year .. in the peak District there is no need to run low on food .. if you go to Buxton , search Hardwick square west and there is a small church . 6 days a week between 10am and noon it has a shop called waste not want not , the lady who runs it is called Kath . She has supermarket food 1 day past it's sell by date , lots of bread pastries and vegetables , some cheeses and meat . I know you are carnivore but it may help as it looks very cold . The food is all free but you can tip Kath if you want .. it is open all year ..Robert of cognac 🇫🇷 xx

Hey Janet, lol, the butter thing is a low carb/ketogenic/carnivore thing. I actually prefer my coffee with it in now 😬. I agree about the snow. It's lovely for a while but it did start to get a bit tedious 🙄 xx

Hey Coral 👋 End of an era for south gare then! Beautiful scenery at your last park up, the sun beeming over the snow covered hills 👍 You mentioned the no sleeping sign at that car park in Castleton, not far from where I live there’s a forestry commission car park where you obviously park up and go for a walk. They’ve added a new sign within the last couple of months saying “strictly no overnight stays ………. if you do stay over night make sure to be gone by dawn”! Which one is it, cause it can’t be both 😂🤷🏻‍♂️😂 Chicken liver pâté on toast 🤤 It’s the simple things in life mate 👍😎❤️

@ yeah I’m buzzing to get me self a van and start exploring! Break free from the 7:00am - 5:00pm daily slog! Yeah if you do stay overnight at that park up you’ve got to be gone by dawn but it says strictly no overnight stays 😂 Talk about confusing, it just made me chuckle when I saw it the other day. @ no luck just yet with finding a van, it’s proving a lot harder than I thought it would be. It doesn’t help matters that people are asking so much for vans nowadays, even one that’s got quite a bit of corrosion no one’s willing to budge on price. I’d like a older Iveco as I’ve said before but I just can’t seem to find a decent one. I’ll get there in the end no doubt! I’m also looking at older Sprinter’s, Vauxhall Movano’s/Renault Master’s 👍 There’s a van dealership in Bristol called A37 Vans, they’ve got a nice camo green 08 Sprinter but it’s £14,945 but to be fair they had it priced at £19,495 not too long ago. It’s got a clean mot history with hardly any rust!
