Saying goodbye to my Skyline GTR

Watching my GTR drive off after 3 years of it sitting in my garage. Finally time for my Nissan Skyline R32 GTR restoration to begin and we will be repainting the engine bay, fixing the rust and undercoating the underbody including the wheel wells and seam sealing. Josh, I saved a screen shot of your flatbed company. I kind of gather you called him directly to arrange it. Not through AAA or Hagerty. Right? Can you tell me how much it cost for that? The 2 times I've needed a flatbed here I got it once from AAA and once from Hagerty. Both times the flatbed came all the way from Tacoma. The Hagerty roadside emergency experience was horrible. The AAA experience was ok mainly because it was not a roadside emergency, it was arranged ahead of time for transport to English Racing (200 miles free on Premier AAA membership). So anyway, would you use Mr Nice Guy for a roadside emergency here? Or would you call AAA? Assuming, for a flatbed to haul a car like your GTR or my Talon.

Hey Gary, yeah I called Adam at Good Guy Towing directly. Darnell's Auto body recommended him. Adam was nice enough to pick my car up on his day off. Price was great only $200 from our neighborhood to Tacoma. Adam did a great job and I would definitely recommend him.

Have you ever inspected the underbody ? Most of the time this black paint hides Rust. Like in the wheel arch you shown. 🥲

Yeah, I stripped my front and rear wheel wells myself a few years ago and rattle canned them and undercoated them. Luckily my car was rust free. I am just having that area professional done so it last my lifetime.
