Can you do a video comparison using your A7SIII between 24mm GM prime lens and the sigma art 24-70 at 24mm? Using IBIS but no gimbal? I'm thinking about dumping my heavy ass sigma 24-70 because I typically only use 24mm and on the end of a 7foot ifootage monopod hoisted into the air for concert style videos, it would be nice to lose some weight up there. I don't know if I'd be interested in the sigma 24mm because it has the adapter junk built into it if memory serves. I shoot a lot of low light stuff so if it's possible can you include that in the video if you do it? Thank you

Listen, call me left leaning, call me a socialist, or even call me a communist. But I don’t think cancel culture is a leftist ideal, although the right likes to call it as such. There are cancel culture people everywhere, and I don’t think it’s a matter of being on the left or the right. I don’t know how we’re going to deal with it as a society, but it’ll have to get dealt with at some point. Perhaps we start by canceling out cancel culture by just ignoring them? I don’t know. But hey, while I’m here I want to say I’m very disappointed with the Sony a7 IV’s battery life, because I know a lot of people don’t want to talk about it, so I will mention it whenever I get the chance. 😂

@@nVuFilms It’s weird. I come home from a one hour shoot with the battery around 50%, whereas with my A7III I used to come back at 75% feeling I didn’t need to recharge it if I had a shoot the next day. I’ve tried using different batteries too.

@@DavidStella ok so maybe since u haven't tried anything beyond a7III. The a7IV is a lot more intensive. Processor etc. 4k60 and 10bit is a lot more work. So naturally battery will be eaten up quicker

You seem to be conflating issues about the “left”. My limited understanding regarding VA school’s is that some districts were teaching high schoolers (sometimes clumsily) about systemic racism in America. This upset some people (probably many whose kids were not even in these districts) and a republican governor was elected. I’d be really surprised if you were against high school kids learning about slavery, jim crow, redlining, employment discrimination, the prison industrial complex, unequal drug laws, unequal school funding, etc. Either way, I don’t think it helps your channel to talk about politics, bc I myself am turned off by the people talking about “woketards” and generalizing about “the left” and such in your mentions. That stuff just creates more divisiveness, and I think it hurts what you seem to be doing in creating a community interested in your video production expertise. As I said before, I really like your videos about camera gear and video production work! I think that other stuff would probably be best worked out in some other marketplace of ideas. I have both the a7S3 and a1. In S-Log3, the a1 looks very clinical whereas the a7S3 looks cinematic.
