I’m only 4 minutes into the video and Blakely has me cracking up. Such an energetic funny baby. 😂 She really is in the best phase. Beckham and his sister are lucky to be spending time with such sweet grandparents. Those days were always a blast for me, grandparents allow more. 😜😜 I hope your trip was dreamy. 💜💜💜 Edit: I think Beckham’s giggles just made my entire week. Tell me that isn’t the best sound. 🥺

It's so hard traveling away from your kids. My husband and I went on a solo trip in May when our daughter was 15 months. We were gone from Monday to Friday, but had to leave super early on Monday and got in late on Friday so were without our daughter from Sunday night to Saturday morning. It was hard. I definitely missed her and we video chatted a few times, but it was also so refreshing to have a "reset." I'm hoping to make it an annual thing where my husband and I get to go away for a few days, just the two of us.

I love Rachel so much. She's so authentic and honest. Plus she uploads no matter what. She works like 3jobs has a disabled child and able bodied child and has her own mental challenges like we all do. She deserves this vacation. I hope u enjoyed it Rachel. Really. The kids will be great. I'll miss them though too

Both of your kids are adorable, but Beckham's giggle, I love it. He's such an awesome little boy. You and husband are awesome parents. I have spastic Cerebral Palsy, but it doesn't have me. I am 52 and I live independently with my service assistance dog. I am trying to get a transportation business off the ground in TN. There is such a need for accessible transportation. I use a Permobil F5 VS power wheelchair most of the time. I also use an anterior Kaye Walker, a Rifton Gait Trainer, and since May of 2021 I have been using an Alter G Anti-Gravity treadmill. Taking time out for you and your husband is important for both of you too. Hope you enjoyed your vacation.

I so get the medical bills part!! My now 21 year old son has high functioning autism and getting our insurance company to pay for his therapies was like pulling teeth. I worked my butt off with Dillan as he was growing up so he could have a life as close to a typical person’s. Ally, my soon to be 17 year old has severe scoliosis and had to have surgery on her spine. Ally plays travel softball and absolutely loves it but the surgery would hinder her ability to be flexible and bend over so I found a surgery that was still in the approval stage, VBT- Vertebral Body Tethering. I basically begged my insurance company to approve the surgery and after 2 denials in 2018 two days after Christmas I received the approval letter for the surgery!! She had her spine surgery on 2/13/19 and is doing AMAZING!!! I will do ANYTHING for my kiddos and they are worth every tear, smile, upset stomach and happy full heart!!! Rachel, from one special needs mom to another, you are doing an AMAZING job with Beckham. God blessed you and Hunter with him because he knew y’all would love him to no ends and give him the best life possible. Thank you so very much for sharing your sweet family with us!!! #TeamHughes

Rachel I wish we lived closer, i worked in healthcare billing for over 20 years and know way too much about insurance. If one of the reasons the insurance doesn't want to pay is medical necessity the physicians can write a letter explaining the need.

Rachel! Even if I’m the only one… you absolutely have a candy corn lovin’ sister here🙌🏼💕 and this may be tmi but when I was a kid it was the one candy I looked forward to in the fall and I would eat it one section at a time😂 loved this vlog as all of the others. It is so refreshing to see real mom life from another mom. I have 6 amazing kids of my own and you are doing a wonderful job!!💖 Edit to say: Even if Hunter did cry over being separated from his kids… that is a real man, for real. Thank God literally there are still dads out there like Hunter! He should do a series on the family channel of how to be a real husband and father and leader and what are the warning signs for girls to look for in a guy that will not line up with all of that in the future. You both are seriously a wonderful example💕 God bless your family
