Just to be clear: I deleted all the reactions already and I'm thinking to delete also every video of mine with less than 1000 views to leave in the channel only high quality stuff that has been appreciated. What do you think about this idea?

Dude I just want you to know I was following you since almost more than a year ago, loved each and every vid of you I saw. I'm well versed in the content & media buying scene and I could def appreciate all the work you were putting into these vids, the scoring, the song tiers, the visuals, the drum improvs, literally everything. Major Kudos man!! you were one of the few authentic persons I had the pleasure of following on YT. I wish you all the best, and will def keep following on.

You caught my attention with one of the videos you're deleting and then after watching a few more, i subscibed. It was mostly based on your dead-pan style of talking and your amazing talent. KZbin is about being entertained. There's a million drummers out there but the attitude and subject are what made you stand out. Whatever you do, I'll stick around and support. Oh and I'm not a drummer but I'm fascinated and jealous by the coordination it takes.

You could move the reactions to a separate channel, some work but then it won't mess up the algorythm. Anyway all your stuff is cool a f

your reaction vids are so insightful, even though you're not that expressive. it just fine. when i watched your reaction with Danny, you are know what Danny plays and so when you're reacted to the other complex drummers. that's because you're a great drummer too. i'm not a drummer, i just love the music. Thank you for gave us some great reaction, i hope you doing well sir. Still subscribed for a good music and knowledge

You know my dear drum brother... I don't have any channel although I've been fighting COVID as medic for 2,5 years without any rewards. And I'm fighting cancer and severe painful death for more than 19 years. And I have ALOT to say, but I don' have a channel as I don't have all thee words to describe how fatigue I am. But I ain't gonna stop. Will you? Just tell me, bro. DRUMMERS NEVER STOP! They fhuck this crazy frikin' world on their drumsticks as a ketchup on a weener and KEEP ON DRUMMIN'!!!

I started to follow you because of your drumming skills, not because of your reaction to other drummers skills. Likewise I used to follow Davie504 for his talent with the bass guitar, but now he only makes videos for teenagers with memes and bullshit so sack that. But via one of his competion videos I'm pleased to have discovered Charles Berthoud who to be fair does occasionally make a silly video but even then it's purely about his talent and skills as a bass player, much like yourself on the drums. So you have my support dude, luv your work.

I have learned a lot watching your videos analyzing some songs and how some youtubers play those songs. By example, y learned to play de 46 and 6 drum solo watching your análisis of every drummer You put on your video. It would be a shame to lose that.

Today I was trying to find your channel through a reaction video and was unable, and I couldn't for the love of me remember the channel name. That's going to make things very hard for people that know you for the reactions find you. I hope you can find your way through the algorithm.
@Pietro.Valente2 жыл бұрын
It's kind of sad indeed but at the same time if someone never saw any other video of mine beside reactions it's not helping me to grow the channel since I don't do reactions anymore

Im a bit confused, because some videos are in both playlists. For example the video about linear drum grooves and the video about irrational time signatures are in the "I will delete these videos in 1 month" and in the "Drum Curiosity" playlists. So is that the kind of content that I will see in the future on this channel or not?
@Pietro.Valente2 жыл бұрын
I'm thinking to delete also the videos with less than 1000 views one month later. I'm not totally sure about that, the point is to leave visible only videos that have good response. What do you think?
@szrnkabela2 жыл бұрын
I smell a negative mindset, Pietro. Deleting history doesn't solve a thing, especially not on the internet, if that's reason and not some copyright problem. Nobody gets better or purer because of it. Your videos are bridges to people - why do you want to exclude or alienate some of your viewers? Look at Jack Conte. New ideas with new project title, more connectivity, richer body of work.
@Pietro.Valente2 жыл бұрын
I am indeed a bit frustrated with the click rate I get on my videos. I need to improve on titles and thumbnails for sure but I also believe that producing a wide variety of content is not helping either. Some people are interested in one type of videos and don't watch the others and this is detrimental for my channel. I don't want to exclude people I just want to focus on a specific direction and on what make me happy as a creator.
@szrnkabela2 жыл бұрын
@@Pietro.Valente I'm not sure about that, but I'm not a creator either. I don't know if any fellow youtuber would have advised this radical move to you. Deleting videos because of creative struggle is just ultima ratio. It's also very hard to match high clicks (record sales, Spotify plays etc.) and academic/harmonic/structural/technical quality. You can do popsicles and other non original things and if you communicate them well you can get a lot of clicks. If you want to sell quality product for the masses, you have understand zeitgeist, be able to communicate, reflect on viewer opinions, ge connected in the online world, and still you have to be extremely lucky to get a good 2-3 years run before you have to completely change strategy. Just look at the guys from Vulfpeck. To me Cory Wong is the least interesting of them in an artistic way, but in the last 2 years he has absolutely outgrown everyone else with his highly industrialized, albeit artistically low-risk solo project, not shaming to use the post-Prince infrastructure. I guess you're a connected guy in the offline musician community, so maybe you could use these resources to open a fresh chapter for your online career.
@Pietro.Valente2 жыл бұрын
@@szrnkabela your considerations are very interesting, I will ponder about them. I was thinking indeed how to use my connections as a professional musician in this online endeavor but I didn't find a winning idea for now.
