13:29 I have a question shouldn't it be 와요 and not 왔어요 bcz the sentence means in order to cook come to the kitchen so shouldn't it be in present tense

Notes for myself 놀다 - to play, to hang out (으) 려고 can't be used if the action verb, that if following it is imperative(suggesting, commanding smth)

oh my god, how have i been learning korean without your videos i dont know thank you for the time and effort your putting in your classes please keep uploading can you do more korean everyday and useful sentences and breaking them down like with the lyrics videos , i think its a good way to review the grammer lessons and to keep adding more vocab as well thank you again

Thought they are not "sentences" I do go out (not literally) and do the video/virtual tours around Korea and do my best to read the signs as well have downloaded quite a few books to try reading comprehensions on my own... Thanks to you and the other on-line teachers for your time and giving so many examples and ways to learn your language... And, yes, k-pop and k-dramas, brought me to all of you...

고맙습니다 깡인씨! 그리고 깡인씨의 문장에서는 "한국에" 가 맞아요~ 한국에 일하러 "가"니까 to Korea 라는 뜻인 "한국에" 를 써야 맞아요. 그리고 깡인씨 의 한국어가 계속 늘고 있어서 저는 기분이 좋아요😊

I like the way you teach, and the way you explain makes it easy to understand. Thank you for doing these Korean lessons. Would you be able to do a lesson on quotation or indirect speech? Like for example how to relay something said by someone else in Korean. (She said "_", she asked "_", "she asked u to bring the book." etc)

좋은 성적을 반게 / 받도록 공부해. = Study hard to get good grades. Shouldn't there be 열심히 in the sentence for the word hard? Thanks by the way for the lesson, Miss Vicky! I always see 도록 in lyrics of Korean songs! Now I know what it's for and how to use it!

Great lesson! Now the other uses of -게 finally make sense! 드디어 ‘-게’의 많은 사용을 이해할 수 있네요! I have one question though: how are -러 , -게, -도록 different from -려면? Does connecting a sentence with -려면 just add the nuance of “IF in order to ... THEN you should...” to an imperative sentence?

First off, thank you verry much for your constant efforts! It is really usefull and i am very thankful! 감사합니다!!! Secondly, I wanted to ask, as I did the quiz, I was wondering why 나가다 isn't considered "moving verb", I got that one wrong T.T But anyways, it's amazing how good of a teacher you are that you made even me, a complete newb, to get all of that !!! Hello, Iva! 나가다 is considered a moving verb, so unless it's in imperative mood, you can use it with both 러 and 려고 :) May I ask which one in the quiz you mean?

So taking the song lyrics 내 몸이 달아오르게 what does that mean? The English subtitles say "let my body burn up"...is that accurate? I learn a lot through song lyrics and I can't figure out how they got the English translation. The more lessons I watch and read the more confused I get. I'm still a beginner so any sort of explanation or direction would help!

Oh, what if all together : 1) different intention subject and action subject 2) imperative mood 3) 오다 / 가다 ? For example, how do we use the conjunction in this sentence: "In order to let everyone see you, come forward" It is "모두가 널 보이도록 앞으로 나와" ? Thanks Vicky 선생님! 😊

선생님, in this sentence you took -저는 가족들이 저녁을 먹을 수 있도록 일찍 집에 갈 거예요.... Here, is it possible to use 러 and 려고 expressions as well ? (as 가다 is a moving verb and it is also not an imperative sentence)

could someone elaborate for me on the differences between using -게 and -도록? I know Ms. Vicky said they're interchangeable, but after researching a bit, I found that it sounds more natural in certain sentences to use -게 over -도록 and vice versa. Sadly, I couldn't find any good explanations, so if someone could tell me some of the differences it would be really really helpful ^^

So do you have to use 도록/게 if the subject of the intention and action is different, even if it's not imperative or is a moving verb?

so 으려고 used just with the intention of the first person only. but 으러 with both the speaker and the listener so it accept the imperative mode as an action sentence. is what i got right?

woah i learned today that when you cant use ~(으)러 and ~(으)려고, you can consider ~게 and ~도록.. how about ~기 위해서? can we also used this in this state?
