Does this update allow for animation generation between key frames? And are users able to upload their own models/animations/poses for editing in v2?

Users can currently upload their own characters, yes. We will be allowing user-uploaded animations very soon as well as Animate 3D library access (from our AI motion capture tool)!

whats the point of this because in a year sora ia (open ai) can generate 3d animation better than this with a single prompt

Sora does not generate 3D animation, they only generate 2D video. Our platform provides 3D animation files that you can import into your projects, experiences, game platforms and beyond. Their training data consists of copyrighted 2D video content. They do not have licensed 3D training data or assets - we have the largest 3D human motion generative model out there!
