SAYSKY half tights vs Nike aeroswift || BEST running shorts for racing and training?

I’ve recently been using the saysky running half tights to see if they are better than the Nike aeroswift half tights. As part of my best running gear series, today we look at these half tights that are arguably the best running shorts for men out there in terms of quality, compression and durability. 100% agree on the liner situation. I’ve really come to like the Wolaco half-tights. They have a liner that’s just in the front. I think it’s a great trade off between comfort and flexibility.

Completely agree regarding the comfort thing- I wish more companies had built in briefs in their half tights!

I'm kind of at an age where I don't really care what I wear out in public so long as it's comfortable. QUite enjoying the split Happy Stride shorts for their funky designs. People don't really seem to care around Blackpool, but my other home on the outskirts of Manchester....I do get a few sniggers (the unicorn and campy ones really). I'm pondering whether I'd be safe wearing Half tights though as they seem to leave nothing to the imagination.

My Saysky tights are without the side pockets and a small pocket at the back but guess they’re more for racing than these

Do they have the inner brief too?

What phone did you use with these tights? The side pockets look a bit small for a plus/Max sized iPhone. Personally prefer half tights with big side pockets for fast yet secure access to my phone during casual runs (belt/waistband or sacrum pocket is even more secure but more of a faff to get in and out often). Downside is it's hard to find one with an inner brief liner (and I think the front-only style of liner may be less secure but of course better for breathability). Skeptical of these Saysky tights due to their unisex design and the seam running down the middle indicates lack of a 🍒 pouch/gusset for going commando. Hate the feeling of 🍒 sticking to inner thigh 😅. Would've liked to see what the inside looks like in the video.

In another video I’ll try and show the inside of them, but they are a good secure fit compared to most half tights without the inner breief.. the seams are in much better place than almost all the other shorts I’ve used.. my phone is an iPhone 12 Pro.. the max may not fit but I find that phone too big simply because it never fits in my running shorts 😂

Same happens to me in the aeroswift. I love the fit and feel, but over time the groin stitching goes... Nike always replaced or refunded but not ideal

I do want to try soar but havnt got any yet. I’m not entirely sure on the model but I think they are the combat short tights looking at the photos online

@@Runningmansam cheers mate! Yeah they look like the ones. Interesting they state the weight as a selling point of the other ones they do… maybe the combat is for training? Although it would be annoying not having the pockets for when gels are most important… races!

@@JackD87 I havnt tried any others from them to be fair but I would and have raced in these and they were great mainly because of those pockets for the gels. I think if they work for you it really doesn’t matter because these certainly aren’t heavy at all
