Dwi isio = I want ; ищу [ ishchu] = I seek ( Welsh helps you remember Russian too!)

I had been taught eisiau rather than isio which does feel more Welsh to me

SSi Languages fair enough but to me you say eesho, whereas I would pronounce eisiau as iceyeye or eyeshy so it's a little different to be honest. Though my pronunciation is closest to people from Llanelli to be honest
