YAS TAEMIN!! 🙌🏻 Yep, to sum up: he’s feeling regretful he did that to the girl. I don’t remember well the whole explanation, I’m sure another shawol will tell you, but yes the flowers have meaning too. Don’t worry Anitra is very understandable, I also tend to zone out watching him dance 😆 Fun fact: the fancy house is the same one as Lady Gaga’s Paparazzi. Now you only have left on Korean’s MV “Day and night” (should watch it with a live, he composed and choreographed the song) and 3/4 of his japanese ones! It’d be great if you guys can react to “Day and night” and “Famous” (this one has a performance ver too) before his comeback in July! (to have watched all his koreans mv + his latest release) but I know you have lots of stuff to check so don’t worry. I definitely think this is probably my favourite Taemin song and it’s even better when he does the body roll move during his sketch on SNL Korea. I’d totally recommend watching it one day in your own time, it’s hilarious and called “Tsundere Café”

According to Taemin himself said that "Someone asked me what the blue roses mean. The roses are blue to show that the scene is not part of reality" & he explained that there are two versions of him in the music video "two taemins", that could mean there is a doppelganger for him in literal sense or as a manifestation of repressed inner darkness in a perceived good person in him or it could be that to show that there are two sides of him and he has been losing control trying to control them. at the start of the mv with the neon color if you look closely you see two taemins on each side of the screen and he himself standing in the middle. There hasn't been any kidnapping, that wasn't a reality & he just imagined it. the stealing part in the start and this "group of friends" is to show that he feels dull, sad & angry and doing edgy things to feel thrilled, but still isn't working. the car represents his past regrets & in the end, he set it on fire to symbolize his trying to come over his past regrets and starting over. the concept of the mv & the comeback played on the duality and mirror images aspects. you really should check out the poster for the press it album lol it's related to the mv and the concept.

I read someone else commented this in another video, but we have Taemin to thank for requesting to add electric guitar to this song. He may not compose and write all of his songs but he's definitely involved in the creative process of the final product, just like in his songs' choreographies where he has a lot of input on his moves.

oh.... i haven't seen someone answered.... but. the whole story of the song is not behind the lyrics or smth. he had his presenting album meeting, where he has told about each song. the main meaning behind the mv was the duality of a personal character. that's why on the one of the covers of different albums "press it" there was a picture of taemin almost kissing taemin. can't wait for more reaction. you are beautiful ! thank youuu!

The story in Taemin's "Press Your Number" is supposed to be Taemin's alter ego. He is battling himself. The guy with the gun who is committing the crimes is his -- or his character's -- inner demons and when you see him tied up and regretting his actions that is supposed to be the good side of Taemin. You see flashes of both the girl and him tied up because it's supposed to be alternate realities or situations depending on which part of himself is in control. How I interpret the blue rose is, it's supposed to signal the moment where things are not real -- these are moments where Taemin's character is battling with his mind to try and keep a grip on reality. The more roses, the further from reality he is, etc. Being tied up and unable to speak is a metaphor for being trapped inside your mind by self-doubts and indecision, etc. This song was originally wrote and composed by Bruno Mars.When SM bought the rights to the song and gave it to Taemin, Taemin and his team translated the words into Korean and changed the style and beat up a little to fit Taemin's style and to make it acceptable for a Korean audience. (Believe it or not, but the original lyrics were even more racy than this. LOL) The choreography for the song also was 100% Taemin inspired. There's a reason why Taemin is considered one of THE BEST dancers and artists in the industry And as you can see, that's why people say he embodies MJ. No one can do what Taemin does -- many have attempted to copy him -- but there is just something special about the way he moves that can't be duplicated. "Press Your Number" is the title track off his Press It album and it was the second release from the album. Both ""Press Your Number" and "Drip Drop" was filmed in L.A. Because California is a union state the staff and backup dancers needed to be from California and they needed to use union members in order to get permits and to be given permission to film there, so that is one of the reasons why he decided to use non-Asian, western backup dancers.

Maybe he got betrayed and then he started to think how did the girl feel when he held the gun at her just to take the money and also hold her hostage so he was probably trying to see what it would look like if he was in her shoes. Maybe it showed two paths, what it would look like if he left the guys (him hiding and they get arrested) or him staying with them (they betray him, they kidnapped him and he prob starts to realize how the girl felt when he did that to her, he understood how she felt)

The MVs for the Press It album were all filmed in and around LA, so you're right, they filmed the car scenes from Press Your Number in the same desert as Drip Drop. Also blue roses typically symbolize the unattainable or impossible aspirations.

His concerts are am A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! You can do his concert in parts! Can Caitlin handle it? It's about a split personality, hair-up taemin is the bad guy, good guy is the one with his hair down. Some people said the blue flowers represent scenes which are all in his head only. At the end of the video he set the car on fire (where the two Taemins are in) like he's trying to get rid of the split personality..? I'm sorry the explanation was too vague but it's somewhere between that hahahaha I tried my best 🤷🏻‍♀️ this is why I always just watch the performance video, so I can focus on him and his dancing more lol Oh! And this is originally a Bruno Mars demo song. "Press Your Body" SM bought it, Taemin changed the lyrics to Press Your Number (because you know Kfans aren't as liberated) so that's why it has such a funky vibe to it

Anitra, the gangster look is hot agree. =0p The dance versions I have not seen. I think i like this song better with the choreo only. And body, body, body yes he has one!!! Hello ladies I love the reaction. So some people may not realize the Press Your Number MV release was the first of it's kind. This is the edited version. The initial unedited version shows the car on fire at the beginning and end of the MV. So you are right he is regretting and reflecting on his actions. This story line actually continues to his Japanese MV Sayonara Hitori. He wakes in the afterlife. The song is called Goodbye in Korean. Please react if you get a chance. Another interpretation I am thinking of (some else has probably already thought of it but nvm). Maybe the two Taemin’s could show two sides of himself: ‘Bad boy’ Taemin and ‘trapped’ Taemin. Whilst the delinquent side shows him fulfilling criminal acts, the trapped side could show how he has to ‘hide’ part of himself from the gang members. Their is a conflict between peer pressure (his false persona) - stealing money from the girls shop + keeping her hostage - and his private side where he might like the girl and want to give her the blue flowers. He buys the flowers but can’t give them to her because of what he has done to her with the gang.
