I really liked what the bride said about her mum. She didn't taint her daughter's desire to marry. I came from a divorce and it put me off marriage. Glad the mum was supportive of whatever her daughter wanted. The way the mum spoke about her own wedding Dress you wouldn't know she had a difficult situation.

Love to see a Christian Indian bride. It’s always funny when people especially white people get confused on why my entire family wore white dresses and some even accuse us of being “westernized” and not following traditions. Just to educate you guys, not all Indians wear colorful saris, or red dresses on their wedding. Christian Indians were colonized by the Portuguese hundreds of years ago and were forced into Christianity which is why we have Portuguese last names (look at the whole brides family) and we wear white dresses. Because of this literally no one knew i was Indian growing up, all my teachers thought I was Spanish lmao. They’d be so shocked when I’d tell them I’m Indian and they’d be like your either mixed or not a true india you have to have those super long Indian names! India has so many different kinds of people and communities it’s so hard to put us in a box. People always expect me to have a huge colorful lavish weddings with elephants and I’m like no that’s for Hindu people 😅. Don’t forget there’s Muslims in India too and they have their own traditions as well. There are also Buddhists who wear white dresses, and so many other religions and cultures within India. It’s hard to name them all, which is why India is known as the most diverse country in the world culturally even though we are all Indian :)

One thing that I really like with this compared to the american version is that it's better lightset and that combined with a not-white wall in the room makes it easier to actually see the dress even when it's white. In many episodes of the american yes to the dress it's all just... white everywhere and not easy to look at.
