And the cup size was a little too big so I think that's what gave the illusion her shoulders were bigger but of course that would have all been taken care of once fitted properly, bringing her shoulders in. I'm also disappointed they told her to wear the exact OPPOSITE of what she said she wanted, and he went along with it instead of standing up for her. This guy is more like a Salesman than anything else. He always asks way too soon if the bride is going to say Yes when it's evident to everyone, (and I believe also him), that she's not ready to make a decision. He always pushes them in that direction whether they're truly happy with the dress or not. It's like he just wants to get the appointment over or something. If you notice, he asked her Entourage first if they would say Yes to the Dress before he even asked her, knowing it would sway her answer. For those reasons, I don't like this show very much.

Better be honest about a dress making you look crap than being all "wow you look good" when someone don't and then everyone everywhere around thinking that the clothing makes you look crap. Thing is sometimes clothes can make you look like you have broad shoulders or bigger ass or smaller breast etc. It's an illusion some clothes create. Oh God that was so wrong for them to push her to like the dress. She won't be feeling as confident on her wedding day when she puts on this dress as she would if she had picked out a dress on her own and actually felt good in it. I have a bit of a tummy and I absolutely can't feel good or enjoy my day if I'm wearing something that doesn't cover it up in some way. I have bought clothes on my friends opinion and remarks and regretted getting them once I put them on in my home. I know she won't be satisfied with that dress.

man i have so much regret about the dress i picked because i didn't pay enough attention to the areas i didn't like. i thought i looked good straight on but half my wedding pictures are in profile and i look like i'm smuggling a fucking monster truck tire under my dress because it doesn't disguise my tummy AT ALL. it's so wrong for people to try and force someone to expose a part of their body that they're not comfortable with. i don't even know what they're talking about with the broad shoulders, the first dress looked great on her.

I am not body shaming, but she has a little tummy in the last dress. No problem, she looks amazing.... but she thinks it is a huge problem. So that is not the dress for her. When I shopped my dress I was only smiling the whole time, I thought it looked great, I was in love with it... although my sister wasn't. I had to try more dresses just because of my sister, but I already knew..... THAT was my dress. Nobody could talk me out of it. 🙂

She looked lovely in all the dresses-the first dress didn't quite fit properly around the bust, but once that was fixed it would have looked lovely on her (I don't see how it made her look wider, as the one friend said). I'm not sure I'd call the entourage supportive, but a little forceful. With some minor fitting she'd look perfect in every choice she walked out wearing. It's a crazy balance/imbalance to be kindly cruel, but they managed it. They said she was very beautiful, just not in any dress but the one they wanted her to wear--which, obviously, she did. She didn't look confident in "her" choice. She liked it, but I think she only decided on it to please her family and David. I hope she ended up in a dress she Loved. I don't really like the way the staff or the entourage acted in this. It felt like they all pressured her into the dress they liked, despite her voicing her insecurities - none of them could see how hesitant she was. She said she loved that dress, but IMO, that's hard to believe - body insecurities don't go away in minutes, and if it was me, I'd be doubting my choice that very night. I hope it's not like that for her, but I wouldn't be surprised. Also, the lace; she specifically said she didn't want lace, and they put her in an all lace dress. When she admitted that she liked it more than she thought she would - not that she loved it - the guy says, "Finally!" As if it was a forgone conclusion that of course she likes lace, what bride doesn't, why was she so difficult? On the dresses, I didn't like #2. The combo of the lace and tulle just seemed unbalanced, and I didn't like the back. #1 would've been even more flattering if the bodice and skirt met at her actual smallest point, but that could've been a size issue. Also, I didn't really like the tulle - maybe I just hate tulle and I'm just figuring that out, but I would've liked the same material as the top for the skirt. #3 was flattering, and I agree that off-the-shoulder really suited her, my issues are more with the behavior surrounding it.

As a young woman with alopecia I am always glad, to see other woman with the same problem talking openly in public about it as it helps to raise awareness. What I cannot understand how others can let her wear such a bad fitting wig to an appointment like this as it gives young women and girls the message when you have alopecia everyone will know that and see it. And it is also a bad start in the beginning as it is harder for her to see her own beauty in the mirror. I have to say if the entourage knows of her self consciousness the way they reacted was also very blunt and insensitive. Sadly that put on so much pressure on her that she said yes in the end.

it was my least favorite. It looked the least bridal to me and I don't think the halter type neckline was as flattering as the other two. She still looked great, but just not her best. The third dress is pretty on her, but I can understand her desire to have a less fitted dress - I loved dress 1. I would want to try on dress 1 if I were shopping.

I feel like a lace free off the shoulder with the skirt of the first one would’ve been the dream. She looked so uncomfortable in the last one, doesn’t matter that she looked beautiful. If you’re going to spend the day trying to strategically place your hands over your stomach it’s not the one.

a good friend had pretty much the dress you described. It was beautiful! She wanted to be a princess for a day and reminded me -" your wedding is probably the only chance to wear a princess dress" - go for it (If I ever get married, I'll be on the "older" bride side of things).

If ever a bride was pressured in to buying a dress, she didn't want. She said what style she wanted to try on. Nobody listened to her. She said she doesn't like lace, why bring out a dress, covered with lace? Why did they seem to rush her? They choose the dress, they wanted NOT the dress she wanted. I am so feb up of of mother's, family and friends, making bride's have the dress they like. It's the bride's day, her choice. Please be respectful to the bride. Hoping she and her husband to be, have a wonderful wedding. Wishing you both every happiness ❤

I can RELATE to her; I have alopecia also but I’m very confident in MYSELF and how I have overcome. My Airman Fiancé is aware of my condition and ALWAYS has something POSITIVE to say. “Love 💕 the skin you’re in”! God knows and He wants the best for all of us! 🥰🥰🥰

I have alopecia as well, but I developed it as an adult. I developed psoriasis at 5 years old, though, and what she said about everything else about her having to be perfect is so spot on. I've always been so critical of my appearance because of my psoriasis. Sweet lady is so much more beautiful than she gives herself credit for 💜 I'm so happy she's been able to find a happy life for herself.

By myself, I first chose my gown from the rack that the consultant brought. I then had the groom look at all of the gowns on the rack without comment from me, and he chose the same one.

The second dress looked STUNNING on you. It's YOUR wedding and Your dress and YOUR body and if you feel conscious of your tummy then take what you feel comfortable in. It's going to be a draining day so you need a dress you can relax in, not cover up of pull in all the time. Imagine how your tummy's going to feel by the end of the evening. I hope you took the second dress, it was stunning and quite different with the crossover leafy design. Enjoy your wedding! 💐🙋‍♀️

After seeing a lot of these shows I was kind expecting they would ask about my fiancé when I went to buy my dress. Of course, they didn't because whom you're marring has nothing to do with your dress (Unless you're marring into Royalty and have to follow a protocol, I guess)

Way to crush her confidence, guys! I was actually thinking that too. I think maybe so many people posting so much information about themselves on social media has somewhat changed the person to person social interactions too. I'm often completely taken aback how often I'm approached by a stranger and asked my age, what my husband or I do for a living, or where I live. I've had to adjust to being vague in my responses.
