She ended up picking a very simple classy beautiful strapless and wore the cape they have over it, that goes around the neck and flows out in the back like a huge train. So pretty, her skin is gorgeous. But I know what she means. I never thought of myself as a bride when I was child. I have never thought of what I would look like in a wedding dress. I am 77 and never married, so I don't have a feeling of loss. I hope she got a lovely dress, she deserves it.

She is so beautiful! Lovely skin, eyes, smile, lips...great sense of style. She knows how to dress her figure, wrap dresses are lovely choice for any figure, especially a curvy one. Loved her mom and nan as well. I've seen her choice in full segment and it suited her very well. All the best!

I hope Chanel finds the perfect dress for her! Both dresses she tried on were very pretty and flattering. It seems like she wants something elegant and classy, with just a touch of detail. One option if your dress is simpler, is to get a veil with some detail, like some beading or embroidery. Maybe that can give Chanel the special detail she's looking for.

Man her Groom is EVERYTHING! It's rough when you have to make such an important decision and you never had a vision for it. Sometimes when your big, you automatically cancel yourself out of certain milestones. Sometimes I feel like I'll never have a bridal moment. I was married before , but we rushed the wedding because he was being re-stationed. He promised a real wedding and it never came instead 14 years later we divorced now I'm 42 and dating is horrible. I've gained so much weight that it's like even if I did find someone people would have something to say because of my size and everyone would want me to be in a dress age appropriate. Which is a bummer. I hope she found her dress.

Wish I had these lovely ladies to find a dress for me........ was the opposite ...being so ill after meningitis .....was ridicuioulsy thin ....scawny...looking like hell on earth.....no-one cared !! Love these ladies !! They DO care how we feel /felt ...just love them !!

Seems the bride needs to consider whether she’s more concerned with the venue’s overwhelming the dress (in her opinion), or the dress’ overwhelming her (again, in her opinion). This leads me to wonder if the bride feels overwhelmed by the venue itself - which raises a different thought: did the wedding planner/groom indeed need to hire a wedding planner, which his bride wanted to do? He may be planning ‘His/The’ perfect wedding, not ‘Their’ perfect wedding. 🧐
