Chuck, I lost my dad on April 19th due to Covid. I was on the first plane to see him when he took a turn for the worse. The call that he passed was 9 minutes before I landed trying to get there. Always keep your mom in your heart.

Sabi ko di ako iiyak sa reaction na to eh. Hugs to you, kuya. I can sympathize kasi last December nawala din ang papa ko. Masakit kasi nawalan rin ako ng oras para sa kanya at sa pamilya ko dahil sa sobrang busy ko sa acads. While I was pulling an all-nighter sa kwarto ko to do acad stuff, sa kabilang kwarto nila, nire-revive na pala siya ng mama ko silently. Masakit kasi wala naman siyang sakit tapos biglang di na siya gumising. Yung regrets talaga yung nagpapasakit. Sobrang sakit alalahanin.

I am crying with you..I know the pain of losing a parent because I lost my father last year due to Covid..I was at the hospital for almost 2months looking after him..I saw how difficult it was for him..I saw how the nurses ran to him to give CPRs..My father fought..He fought until the end..He is a brave man..He is a warrior..I am both sad and happy..I am sad because I will not be able to see him again here on earth..But at the same time, I am happy because he is now with our maker..no more pain and suffering..Rest well to both your Mom and my Dad..stay strong and keep the faith. ..
