Mapa was written and co-composed by Pablo. It has two meaning which is Map and the combination of two words Mama and Papa (MaPa- Mom and Dad) This song is their love letter to their parents according to Pablo in one of Simon Servida's video (he's one of the producer of this song) and it could be our love letter to our parents too. According to him at the Mapa Showcase, he thought of writing the song when the had a concert tour in ten different cities in the Philippines (which they haven't finished due to pandemic). They were so busy with their career and they missed their parents so much. The reason why this master piece was created. The lataratara is a lullaby sang by Pablo's mother when he was young. So, when he wrote the song he added that lataratara as a lullaby to our parents.

"Mapa"means map. It's also a wordplay for mama and papa which is Ma & Pa or Ma, Pa(wordplay). We use map as a guide just like how our parents does. So, the title itself is already full of wisdom that it amazes me. btw its been a long time. nice to see u reacting again. ❤️ keep safe
