The MV is actually a compilation excerpts from his short film titled "UNA" (first). Una film revolves about his song "the boy who cried wolf" but also incapsulates his back to back albums called "ALON" and "LAON". You will truly get the deeper meaning of the MV once you are able to listen to all the songs from this 2 albums. In the film, he was like from a being from a different place or planet. Knowing he was different, the only sense of comfort or security he has is that sheep's coat that he always puts on whenever he feels vulnerable. Since he was different, everyone pin points at him, mocks him and overall labels him as someone ominous. Not even trying to get to know and understand him first, they judged him as a bad being all because he was different from the rest. These pair of grandma and grandson were the only ones who tried to get to know him better and helped him adjust to the ways of the world. Being able to finally adapt, he changes only to stop because the grandma meets bad end and he blames himself, running away again from the problem. This prompts him to look for the same sheep coat he's been using all this time to cope up. This shows an unending toxic cycle of depression. It shows how difficult it is to face off our issues/problems and sometimes it's just easier to go back to what we think is our comfort zone (maybe vices or other toxic traits we do to cope). This also brings back to the song lyrics where he says the biggest lie he's trying to hide is himself. He knew that the problem is him but is somehow unable to get over it. If we listen to the whole album, especially ALON, we'll see that he has these 2 personnas. At the end of the end, he was comforting his other self, reconciling that they're in it together. We can also see in the MV that the end was him comforting himself. I think he made the film to show that there are people who are like this. They are different, feel different and no matter how much they try, it's difficult for them to fit in. It's a sad reality but these kinds of people are really among us. Thus, it's all much better to just treat people with kindness and less judgment coz we don't know what's behind close doors. It also exposes us that we all have different sides of us that we show to people depending on who we deal with. Like I can be this to one and be like this to another. Which sometimes makes us feel that we're all just living hiding our true self. Coz when we show who we really are, we're afraid that other will judge us and be out casted. Anyway, there's a lot of layer to the MV. The lyric video is already good enough for the song itself. But the MV I think was made to add more imploring to the narrative that Pablo wanted for people to see and be aware off. All of us are different and we all deal with stuff differently and we just need more kindness and understanding, less judgment. ❤😢

For SB19 introduction Pablo: Get in the zone! All: Break, All:we are "SB19"

Pablo said this was not based on Aesop's Fable. It was a conversation between a boy and a wolf and how one's appearance is judged as how others perceive them to be. The MV was actually taken from Pablo's short film UNA.

There is a video where Pablo explains why he wrote this song.

On his short clips, he explained this song as the perspective of a boy who emphasized with the misunderstood wolf and how he cried for the wolf's struggles.. but the twist was that in Pablo's long running lore of dualities, the wolf and the boy are just one person . His two persona. He did post explanations for all songs of his 2 albums: Alon (Waves) and Laon (In time).. hope you can check it out . ☺️

I truly appreciate your interpretation of this song. You’ve captured everything Pablo was trying to convey so perfectly. It’s evident that Pablo went through a phase in his life where he isolated himself and almost reached the brink of giving up due to the hardships they experienced before.

Thanks for the reaction! I enjoyed your thoughts on the song and the MV. Pablo said the song is an emotional turmoil between the 2 sides of a person, one wanting to fight back to protect itself, the other wanting to stay kind. The MV is actually a compilation of clips from a short film he made called "Una", and can be interpreted freely.

I know Pablo has a series of short videos explaining each of the songs on his two albums. I don't know if they have English subs. Might be worth a look. Pablo's latest work is very personal and plays with your emotions.

The videos for the ALON songs have English captions. Haven't checked the ones for the LAON songs but I've seen the English- captioned ones in an A'tin's YT channel.

If we go by a very early Show Break episode, Ken is either always completely honest or very good at lying, as he never once set off the lie detector device while everyone else did. ;)

as a prelude to this song, pablo mentioned that there are two entities in all of us. the one that tends to act out against the world and (like the latter part of the song) one that is trying to calm our fierce side.😮

Pablo explained why he wrote this song. Explains that he and the wolf are one person struggling internally within himself. BTW, underneath the lyric video, there are subtitles in English.

the music video was from the short film he made based on that very song the short film was more touching as it gives you more context but it was way way too short, we need a series and episodes of each song from his laon and alon album
