VQ Dauntless EP-GP 1540mm (60.6") (ARF
The Douglas SBD Dauntless was a World War II American naval scout plane and dive bomber that was manufactured by Douglas Aircraft from 1940 through 1944. The SBD ("Scout Bomber Douglas") was the U.S. Navy's main carrier-borne scout plane and dive bomber from mid-1940 through mid-1944. The SBD was also flown by the lt U.S. Marine Corps, both from land air bases and aircraft carriers. The SBD is best remembered as the bomber that delivered the fatal blows to the Japanese carriers at the Battle of Midway in June 1942.
During its combat service, the SBD was an excellent naval scout plane and dive bomber. It possessed long range, good handling characteristics, maneuverability, potent bomb load capacity, great diving characteristics, defensive armament and ruggedness.
Now, VQ introduces the SBD Dauntless 46 size EP-GP as a super scale series. This Dauntless comes with scale flap, 2 x painted pilots, machine gun, antena. Also we have supply in the kit some scale detail make by ply wood sothat you can make your SBD look like a real one.
With the big battery hatch, you can use both Electric motor or Nitro engine.

Oh yeah Pilot Ryan. This was really the most thrilling nitro flight in my life. It was like WWII all over again ;-) But at the end I must say that I just love this baby and it has even a story to tell. I just love planes with story. And the bird is fixed and ready for the second battle. And we will also assemble the second baby that it is still in the box and that one will have breand new Saito baby on. Perfect... I loved you video with F-4. 8S setup is just amazing. As soon as I gather some money I will order one. Its really beautiful. This is a second hand plane and it was crashed many times before but still the bird wants to fly. On the original one the landing gear is better and its made for 10cc engine not 15 like it is here. Still we had great time and the bird will be fixed by Captain Blaž. I gave it to him after the second filming. I still have one in the box waiting to be assembled... Cheers my friend, Robert

This was a nerve racking flight Robert! You pushed it a bit but good job with the emergency landing! We had a guy who had the same and he also flew out the tank of fuel because he said if he lands now he needs to take the plane home to repair it, so if it still flies he finishes the flight with half elevator. Thanks Attila. Iam just wondering if maybe I was to fast and the elevator broke, or maybe it was just badly glued. The bird was crashed a few times before I bought it so its really hard to tell. And this baby is actually for 10cc engine. But the CG with this one is perfect. And Just a few days ago I bought the same Master Airscrew prop. Can you believe that. But the time I was flying without problem was great. I cant wait to do the second flight. The bird is ready but we are thinking to take off the engine and check it just in case. My friend has the Macchi with ASP 15cc and he loves it. The elevator hinge looked like it was not glued properly. If you do it you will have a lot of fun! Cheers!

We were just talking with Blaž that without any other surface you would be still able to fly but without elevator its the end of story. I was flying planes without rudder, I was flying planes without ailerons, but without elevator there is no way. Good thing here that I still had half of it... Cheers my friend, Robert

Its really great Kamil and its such fun flying it. This bird was broken a few times before I bought it, but for a plane like that its not bad.
