Unfortunately, it doesn't make much sense. You just have to learn it by heart, like in most languages. 😅

Conjugated verbs are quite hard to remember, even when learning in English, but in Slovene they are on another level!!! You did well to explain all of this using English considering your own language is Slovene!! Imagine me trying to explain in Slovene to an English person English conjugated verbs! I'm impressed.

😂😂😂 I tried. Slovene is complicated even for me, haha. I find (explaining) English much easier. 🙈

I will use bos for the 2nd person singular because the SH sound after B and O doesn’t sound good and boda for the 3rd person dual and sba instead of the sta for the third person duals because it shouldn’t be the same as the 2nd person duals, and I might change the endings of some of the second verbs - why would the ones for feminine singular have the same endings in duals as the ones for masculine is beyond me, at least they should all be different! Old Norse also has some of those dual forms - I haven’t seen dual forms in most other languages that I’ve been learning! I just started learning Slovenian, and I am advanced level in Dutch and intermediate level in Norwegian / German / Swedish and Portuguese and native speaker level in Spanish (learned it 100% passively in childhood by watching a lot of movies and TV in Spanish) and beginner level in Welsh / Icelandic / Breton / Frisian / Hungarian / Faroese / Gallo / French / Italian / Galician / Catalan / Danish / Norn / Gothic / Old Norse etc and the other pretty languages that are on my list of languages I want to learn and improve!

I think imeld and imelt and imeldi and imelti would work well replacing the masculine ones that are the same in duals and plurals as the ones in the previous ones...

Slovenian isn’t that difficult, it’s a category 2 language, like Icelandic / Faroese and Manx and Old Norse / Old English, and it’s a bit easier than Hungarian, even though they have some similarities in pronunciation, for example, the C is pronounced TS (like the TS in the word let’s and like the ZZ in pizza) in both Slovenian and Hungarian, and both use a Z-like letter for the J sound in the word garage or in the French word je / j’ai, so Slovenian uses Ž and Hungarian uses ZS which is considered one letter, so the pronunciation is very easy and the words are easy to remember and the grammar and sentence structure is also quite easy, similar to Spanish / Portuguese / Italian / French / Icelandic / Faroese grammar and sentence structure, though the spelling of the words is kinda different, so it may take longer to get used to it, due to the different accents on certain vowels / letters and the different letter combinations, Hungarian being a category 3 language like Irish and Scottish Gaelic - but some words need one or two letter changes and some of the verb forms need a few changes as well, because some of them aren’t logically correct, so I will use an S sound for the second person singular (imas / nimas / bos etc instead of imaš / nimaš / boš etc) because it sounds better because SH sounds don’t go well with B when they are right after B + A / E / O sounds, and I will use a B instead of T for the third person dual because it should not have the same form as the 2nd person dual one, so, imaba / nimaba instead of imata / nimata and boda instead of bosta for the 3rd person dual, and I will use ni je or ne je for the third person singular when it is a negation because it makes no sense to only use ni or né because ni or né means not, so it logically has to be together with a verb, and I’m not sure why that rule was created because it just makes no sense to only say ni because it just means not (not what?) without the verb, and I’m also thinking about using sti instead of si for the 2nd person singular and si instead of sta for the 3rd person dual, but I’m not sure yet, and the I’m going to use imeldi / imelti or imeld / imelt or something like that for the duals and plurals that are masculine / mixed because they shouldn’t be the same as the feminine singular / dual, but I’m not sure which would sound better for them because I’m beginner level in Slovenian, so I’m not used to the verb forms yet, and it would be nice to hear the opinion of a native, if one thinks imeld would sound better than imeldi or Imelda for masculine duals or should it end in a vowel, tho A sounds more like a feminine vowel to me, so that’s why it doesn’t make sense that the form for masculine duals ends in A for regular verbs, however, I am naturally gifted at modifying words according to the patterns of the written language, and I am a natural artist / writer / lyricist etc, so I have a great eye / ear for beauty / harmony and good or great letter combinations (combinations of letters that go well 2gether) and pretty word endings, and creating pretty words that are perfect and have that perfect flow is a true art, so I can even create pretty words that have the perfect visual harmony from scratch, as well as modifying existing words, and I even modified a few nouns, like dedek (not sure if it’s a K at the end) but, I added a J after the first D (djedek) to avoid the repetition of the same syllable!

And I noticed that Slovenian uses the verb to be as an auxiliary verb for certain verbs, as in Dutch and German, while English and most other languages use to have for almost all verbs, unless one says I am done with something etc or something like that, where the past participle done is treated as an adjective, because technically a past participle automatically becomes an adjective when used with to be in English or Spanish etc, so I guess the languages using to be might also think of the past participle as a adjective, though in English it wouldn’t sound right to say I am had, and I haven’t heard anybody say it that way yet, so certain verbs don’t go well with to be in English - for example, in Dutch one would say ik ben begonnen met iets (I am begun with something instead I have begun something / with something / doing something) and, this may not be easy to understand if one tries literally translating it into English, so one must just accept that languages are different and some things sound good in certain languages, while in other languages it wouldn’t sound right if one would use the same auxiliary verb or the same preposition etc, so I try to think of a new language as something different that requires different verbs and different prepositions to express the same ideas!
