Dear Varun Kathpalia, IMPS enables transfer of money from person to person without knowing the beneficiary account number. One needs to know the 7-digit MMID, Mobile No. and name of the beneficiary to transfer the funds. It also enables transfer of funds from person to account if the name of the beneficiary, account number of the beneficiary and the IFS code of the beneficiary are known.

I am facing this type of problem when I transfer money We have added your beneficiary however you cannot transfer more than 10,000 instantly. Please transfer once the beneficiary is activated.

Dear sir/ madam i transfer money through imps, it shows transaction sucess and amount deducted from my account but my benficiery account not credited. What happend, where is the money. Pls reply

We regret the inconvenience caused. Normally, the amount debited gets reversed without any requirement for intervention. In case the transaction was done through internet banking then, we suggest you to please click on this link: cms.onlinesbi.com/CMS/ and select Technology: Internet Banking/ Online Payment/Transfer/IMPS Fund transfer in the drop down menu. We shall look into the same.

Dear Sir/mam, my father used to transfer money to my account through green card channel at sbi branch...but I recently transferred my sbi branch from Allahabad to Varanasi branch.. yesterday he sent money through GCC,but my account is not yet credited since a day passed...I m worried now that is there any effect on transfer money due to changing of branch..? Pls reply

Kindly note that for the reset of the transaction password , the request needs to be generated via CINB account and the request form generated by the CINB facility should be submitted to the branch for approval. Please contact at 022-27566067 and 022-27579841 for CINB issues .
